RECAP
The group continued along the path until we reached "The Verge;" the town right outside the other end of the Impediment. We encountered another group of travelers and came across a Hook Horror family, but they didn't pose any trouble. We bribed the Hook Horrors with food and they left us alone.
Once at the town, we found lodging, had our items identified, met an Ilithid tattoo artist, and did a little shopping. Our Cleric decided to meet a friend in town and so we parted ways for a bit.
The one noteworthy event was that we ran into a Machinist Amatine Gnome bounty hunter. He was going to collect on each of us since there's apparently a price on our heads. We don't know who set the bounty. Instead of killing us, he offered 1000 GP if we retrieve a crystal that Yannis has. He gave us time to "mull it over" but we didn't stick around town. We hired runners to find the Cleric, then left toward our final destination.
