Oz will spend his time trying to calm and reassure the villagers, especially the children, in their time of need. I will wait until the others have started to leave before I try to explain that we're on a holy mission. I try to get their take on the situation such as how long they've been here in this village, if they know the origins of their Oni bovine protector, where they got the long grain rice used in their fields, who built the temple and how long has it been standing, and if they're aware of any other communities that also worship up and coming CB deities.
I don't push them, but offer to guide them in the calming ways of Quan Yin. Since she's part of both the CB and our Counsel, she may provide a bridge between our worlds. I don't stress the reproductive angle with the villagers, but more the peaceful aspect and Community Domain attributes. I try to clean up the temple as a show of respect and empathy. I'll help clean those who Figment spit on and I'll focus on creation spells to provide food, water, and any mundane gear they may need.
Depending on their response to Quan Yin's teachings and my explanation of our mission to preserve the integrity of our Counsel, I will hold sermon's each day the rest of the party is on the road.
On a side note, I'm not sure if Akrah's actions warrant an Atonement spell, but Oz offers one if need be. I can always consult with Quan Yin via Augury to ask if she needs one. If the answer is yes, then I suppose the Atonement option best suited would be that of retaining her Paladin abilities. I don't believe that option has an XP requirement, but DM would need to confirm.
