RECAP
I'm not sure what everyone missed, but we subdued Kato and his cronies and brought them back to the temple of Tyrogatore. The fighting arena to be exact. The one opponent who died was intercepted by the cleric of Dedestroyt who happened to be in the area during the assault. He offered to take the body to his temple and assured us that Father Haas would be able to question him via Speak with Dead if need be. We didn't question the situation very much because Breach recognized him and vouched for his validity. There's likely more to that story, but nothing came of it last night.

Once at the temple, our runner fetched the Inquisitor of Tyrogatore. He is a well-muscled human with dark skin and chains wrapped around his fists and waist. Several of us questioned the captives while we were waiting for the Inquisitor. We didn't get very far before Kato escaped his manacles and knocked out one of his companions to prevent him from answering questions. He was immediately knocked unconscious and hit with a stunning fist for good measure.

We divided up the remaining captives into separate rooms and questioned one of them alone. He mentioned he was from Horaria, but that Kato wasn't. He didn't know where he was from, but that he made his initial appearance about 2 years prior on the islands. He said they all followed him because his martial techniques were impressive and that he was the mightiest in the area, so many followed him. Kato is a worshipper of Woo-Jen (spelling?) who is another Celestial Bureaucracy deity and has been recruiting others to follow his ways.

Once the Inquisitor arrived, he went to each captive individually and brought them to a room for "interrogation." The screams of pain and thuds of blunt force trauma could be heard echoing throughout the arena. During the questioning/beatings, the group found out of a safehouse for the Horarians who follow Kato. The Inquisitor ultimately found out the same info. He said he was going to go to the safehouse to take everyone out and bring justice to the cultists. Out of respect for our help in capturing the other cultists, he told us of his plans and gave us a head start if we wished to get to the house before him. We decided it would be best to get there first, so we did. That's pretty much where everyone else logged on, so you know the rest.

To sum up, we found some people in the safehouse hiding, unfortunately one of them decided to commit suicide rather than come peacefully with us, we set off some traps, found some symbols and writings of the interloper gods, and collected a bunch of "valuable" items before the Inquisitor showed up. We took the one young boy who surrendered to us back to the temple with the Inquisitor. One other was crushed by Breach's thundering entrance through the barricaded door and the other, as mentioned, leaped out a third story window rather than be captured. We now await whatever answers the Inquisitor finds out before continuing on our journey to rescue Taye.

The invader deity is named Zeng Wu. Breach is workshopping demeaning nicknames at Cyrus’ suggestion. How about “Zing Poo”?

Well, if you're going that route, may as well be "Fling Poo."

Barek asks Figgy if Tommimao is on the list of acceptable deities

Akrah looks over the boy.. " so Cato came to the hardest place he could think of to try to grow the faith.. I appreciate that.. it's very Bugbear of Cato to meet that challenge head on.  But.. Most male bugbears don't live a full life.  Well, at least the unsuccessful ones.. "

Talking to Breach.. " Seems the source of these new deities is definitely back in Ekarude,  Seems the path is to travel back there and stamp out the source, once we have freed our friend. "

The boy speaks some common, so he understands some of what Akrah says, but he is very frightened by her.  "Cado defeated.  He said if he defeated, he not strongest."

I assume he is on the list.  I let her know either way.
