Finally understands the warnings in the book of Dwarven Common sense!  wondering if the epiphanies from the book always come on the razor edge of life and death.  Melody.. why curse us with THIS knowledge!!

A minute into Godric’s ride 8 women and six men run out to the meager fence that marks the town boundary. Another man climbs into the watch tower. All of them are armed with what you are fairly sure are guns. The man in the tower has one with an especially long barrel.
