Syrus offers to cast Augury about an action you want to take.  If will require someone give him valuable tokens that belong to the person taking the action for him to cast.  The tokens are a focus, not used up in casting.

I thought it was Syrus and Saladien who were going to blink invisibly throughout the compound.  Maybe they should cast Augury on themselves to see if that action is wise.  Scratch said he could get us underground with his blood magic, and if worse comes to worse, we can always kill our way to where they're keeping him.

You are correct, Syrus would cast it on himself and Saladien, so I guess he would have those items.
