Giff:

Giff all share the same rules:
•   Giff are large size
•   Despite that large size, Giff only have a 5-foot reach
•   Giff have a base move of 25ft.
•   Giff receive a +1 natural armor bonus due to their tough skin
•   Giff are incredibly dense and heavy, granting them a +4 bonus to Bull Rush and Trip attempts.
•   Because of that density, they count as one Large and one Small creature for the purposes of spell effects.
•   Giff can hold breath for 4 times their constitution rounds.
•   Giff are mostly herbivores and 80% or more of their diet must be plant-based.
•   Their diet and metabolism are such that normal magics that sustain creatures will not affect them.  Example, a Ring of Sustenance fails to work when worn.
•   The negative effects of lack of food are doubled for them.
•   Giff are mentally ordered and predisposed to law and structure.  They gain a +4 bonus against spells such as Confusion.
•   For the same reason, Giff are likely to believe things that are ordered and suffer a -4 penalty on any save or skill check that is lawful in nature or from a lawful source (such as a constable).  This does not apply to things such as a fireball thrown at the Giff by a sheriff.
•   Gains a bonus feat at first level from the following list: Technology, Power Attack, Toughness, Diehard
•   Giff receive a +4 bonus to Strength and Constitution and a -2 penalty to Dexterity and Charisma.
•   The favored class of a Giff is Fighter.

•   Giff are incredibly dense and heavy, granting them a +4 bonus to Bull Rush and Trip attempts. [bonus should only be on resisting these if this is based on extra stability]
•   Because of that density, they count as one Large and one Small creature for the purposes of spell effects. [for beneficial spells like teleport where creature size determines number of targets effected]
•   Giff are mostly herbivores and 80% or more of their diet must be plant-based. [or what? Sickened, exhausted, other?]
•   Their diet and metabolism are such that normal magics that sustain creatures will not affect them.  Example, a Ring of Sustenance fails to work when worn. [or maybe they function at half of the normal effect? I.e., takes 2 portions for create food, ring provides half the amount of sustenance required]

Kender

page 25 of the Kencyclopedia has the rules we will use for Kender: https://dragonlancenexus.com/wp-content/uploads/kencyclopedia.pdf

The only change is removing the automatic languages.
