RECAP
We did some reconnaissance to scout out the munitions factory layout then we came up with an elaborate plan to split the party into groups to wrangle the captured Dwarves, blow up the munitions factory, and take out the slave driver. Instead of wasting everyone's time by elaborating on the details, suffice it to say that all it took to ruin these plans completely was Beorn.

Beorn went in to the munitions factory at night under a spell disguising him as a Gree. He was armed with three grenades and a lighter. The plan was to plant the explosives that night, then set them off the next day between first and second shifts when maximum Gree would be gathered. He immediately got caught while entering the building and was about to be arrested when he decided to pull the pin on one of the grenades while surrounded by gunpowder barrels. The few Gree inside fled on sight of the grenades and Beorn rushed outside. Roughly 20 seconds later, the factory began to come apart in a spectacular display of colorful explosions that lit up the night sky.

The rest of the group, not being in position or ready for the premature fireworks display, scrambled to get outside and see what was going on. To no one's surprise, Beorn was spotted at the ore house trying to hack down the locks on the gate that housed the Dwarven slaves. He was covered in soot and singing some non-sensical tune to inspire himself.

Odde decided to transmutate into a dire badger and burrow under the ore house walls to enter the prison cells. He quickly surfaced in the cell of a mother and her crying children. The rest of the group then followed the burrow hole on foot and reached the cell. Once we explained we were trying to rescue them, they calmed down a bit. At that point, a Grean guard made his way downstairs to the cells and attempted to arrest us. Frederick was able to charm him and convince him to go upstairs to retrieve the keys to the jail cells. In the meantime, Odde activated something that melted the metal of the cells and began releasing captives.

We stopped midway through the half-assed rescue attempt since we ran out of time. For reference regarding those not in attendance, Oratio was planning on leading the slaves out of the cells and down through a burrow hole to the mines where he could lead them through the under mountain. Kai was with the rest of the group as we made our way into the cells with Odde. Needless to say, we never made it very far before Beorn shit the bed. Neither character expended any resources or spell slots, so at least you'll have full HP and resources going into next week's clusterf**k.

The Ore House fills with Beorn's song:

I come from the land of the frost and the beard
From the evergreen forest where dwarves are reared.

The axes of the gods
Will drive our blades into new foes
To fight the Gree, sing and die
Valhalla, I am coming

The Ore House fills with Beorn's song:

I come from the land of the frost and the beard
From the evergreen forest where dwarves are reared rear-ended.

The axes of the gods
Will drive our blades into new foes
To fight the Gree, sing and die
Valhalla, I am coming
One small creative edit, otherwise this was the claptrap Beorn was singing.
