Gwen's song - "Last Fight" (with apologies to Nickelback? Maybe?)

Even if the fight ends before the song does, Gwen continues to sing and is accompanied, strangely, by her sword.  There is an imbedded crystal lattice pattern that can be seen on the blade that begins to ever so lightly pulse and glow as Gwen begins to sing.  And (approximately 6 seconds later) the sword begins an A Capella type melody and backup vocals to her singing

Badger 5 took some damage, about 25% of its integrity.  The captain and first mate review with everyone so you have an idea of how it works.

Lots of crew were banged up, and it's good you are near port.


The ship design meant that no one got knocked into the void, which can be the result of such attack often times.

Some on board know the creature to be called a skavver, or void shark.  That was a big one, but not unheard of siz

One crew member, who looks insect like, did break a few limbs.

Someone reports that the skavver patrol near planets where prey is more likely found, and Maj is the most traveled place in the sphere.

So the encounter was unfortunate but not rare.

It is the 20th day of the 2nd month of 818.

Time, both hours and days, are strictly kept on the ship and if you lose them, it is very hard to get an accurate read in the void.

One crew member, who looks insect like, did break a few limbs.

You know that he has been assigned as the ship carpenter.  Two of his four appendages (the top arms) are retractable and serve as tools, while his other two arms are more traditional.  His legs and bottom third of his insect like body create a tripod like base from which you have seen him do fine crafting work.

One of the Able Voiders (of which there are 2) is a middle aged dwarf looking humanoid who is a Grav.  He knows a bunch about spelljamming and is a master of gravity knowledge, and seemingly can control it on some level.

The ship's Boatswain is a fast moving and clear talking, long eared furry humanoid with powerful legs.  He is in charge of delivering commands around the ship and checking in on everyone to make sure they are performing their tasks as commanded.  His race is known as the Harengon.

The sea elf plans on staying at her home world on Maj.  She has remained sickly this whole time.  She is grateful to everyone who helped her get home.

Other than Gwen, she is the only other obviously female being on the ship.

The captain indicates that you should pick up a new crew member on Maj to get the ship back to 40.
