What language do you ask that in?
Common

The taffers do not listen to your orders.  They follow whatever Pastor Oz says.  They tend to the wounds of the gnolls and make sure they are restrained but comfortable.

Laz conveys the sense that if he had hair he’d be pulling it out.

“Oz! I need a word!”

Laz has them separated. He gives orders that they not be allowed to sleep.

He sits in front of the first one sharpening a filet knife to a razor edge.

“What does your warlord want with this town?”

Laz really wants to talk to some Gnolls before they forget everything.

The taffers will not stand by and allow any unacceptable forms of interrogation.

Laz likes the term “unacceptable forms of interrogation.” Because he has no idea what it means.

Other stuff:
  • Laz has the Han~Sui helm and the Knight’s shield from the Iott dungeon
  • Jesse has the ring of darvision from the Iott dungeon
  • Gareth has the Huntsman’s bow from the Iott dungeon
  • Horatio has the boots of speed from the Iott dungeon
  • Cyrus has Rano’s gear and is returning it to his family
  • Iwakasi has Breach’s amulet of health
  • Jesse took Breach’s dragonfang gauntlets to return to the Tyrogatore Temple in Lynkeed
  • Breach’s hand wraps of destruction are unclaimed - anyone want them? Object’s hardness is reduced by 2 with unarmed strikes. If no one wants them they will be sold and added to the resurrection fund.
  • Cyrus has Barek’s +1 spear
  • Barek’s +1 bracers of armor are unclaimed. If no one wants them they go into the resurrection fund.
  • Esra has Barek’s box of holding with rifle
  • We had 2 orcish crossbows and 30 bolts in the wagon, which we probably left with the wagon at the village unless someone else decided to carry them
  • Also have an unclaimed MW orcish gladius, which will be sold and added to the resurrection fund if no one wants it

I think that’s it for loose ends on my notes page.

Gareth didn’t keep the bow; it had a lower composite strength score than his own.
Cyrus had the +1 bracers and gave back the spear. He will also give back the bracers.

I don’t recall Laz keeping the shield, but obviously he likes the helmet (though he’s not sure it works against gnolls).

Laz offers to question the captured Gnolls, but we need someone nearby who understands their language in case they lapse into Gnoll due to . . . unexpected overstimulation.

We need three things: intelligence (about our adversaries), a plan, and a way to call for reinforcements.

For intelligence, the quickest way would be to take some gnoll watching the perimeter, assuming they do such things. After we know what they’re about we can make a plan of attack.

My old commander said- there are only three sins in soldiering: wasting time, wasting ale and wasting the element of surprise.

One of you cleric types find a way to send for reinforcements.

Those of you that are going to Dukalia, Farcus asks who are you trying to find?

Laz looks confused at “find.”

Unlike the rest of the structures, which look like halfling mounds, it is round with a pointed roof made of uniformly rounds long sticks.

Want me to knock? (Unconsciously twirling the flail by his side)

I did not get a chance to post this on the last thread:

Laz, generally not paying attention, hears: “Farming, luck, ancestry, and small towns” and says “Wait, what? I thought we were going to defeat servants of the storm god. I’m a big believer in violence, especially as a problem solving tool, but I’m not going to wipe out a bunch of Halfling farmers.”

It is the 1st day of the 6th month of 818.

If there was anything you wanted to do in the interim while you traveled, let me know.

Cyrus will return to the Sanitarium by way of Port Springs and Icefia, as he didn’t get to visit those places in his original voyage. If Taye has not recovered when Cyrus arrives he will offer to take him to his monastery (dedicated to Celetal) in hopes that the psions and clerics there can assist him.

Laz will go to the Sanitarium if that’s his best choice to get uncursed. From there he is willing to head to Yoshi.

Gareth is heading home first but will also try to make his way to Yoshi. If there is a way to communicate back to Yoshi, Gareth suggests the Bardic College would be the best place to search for allies and information about the Bureaucracy, GOLK, and Re’alph.

Cyrus is committed to either returning Iwikasi to life or to the Iron Tower. He did not go to the meetings with Gneon and laughs out loud (which you can’t recall ever hearing), nearly doubling over, at the suggestion of a Gnomish spaceship. After someone convinces him it’s a real thing, he walks away still laughing.

Esra isn’t particularly interested in any of those locations. He is most interested in investigating more about the Celestial Bureaucracy, seeing that as a large problem but a lot of opportunity for many small gains.

Pacyr is our best option for quick turnaround to revive Iwakasi and Barek. Probably weeks instead of months.

If no one else is interested in Pacyr then I will follow Akrah since she seems very competent, seeks out trouble (leading to profit), and is easy to hide behind.

Cyrus will go with Esra if that is what the masters of the Iron Tower wish.

Laz - Sanitarium
Taye - Sanitarium
Akrah - Sanitarium
Wake - Sanitarium
Gareth - Portet
Cyrus - Ekarude
Horatio - Ekarude
Terlus - Lynkeed
Osric - Lynkeed
Jessie - Lynkeed
Vechi - Great Forest
Oz - Great Forest

Figment - ?
Esra - ?

Just leaves Esra and then the debate over who wants Figment.  Likely that eliminates Portet, Lynkeed, and the Sanitarium (where you are confident those that run the place would not appreciate Figment's effect on mental health).
Cyrus’ destination is dependent on the possibilities raised by Esra.
Gareth would take the shortest route to Icefia, so if that means sailing to Cape Tolya or Camade that’s also fine.

Maybe one of the clerics can speak with Iwakasi to clarify what he wants? Do his teachers know we have the resources to bring him back without trekking across Habololy?

Also, we could potentially contact Rano’s father using magic.

Cyrus is not opposed to either suggestion, though at some point a visit to Rano’s family will be necessary.
