Gwen - Athletic, Hazel eyed, Dirty Blond haired, Friendly (but not too friendly if you know what I mean), and talkative

Do you have ranks in:
  • Profession (Sailor) - Nope. Haven't had a whole lot of free time to learn to sail
  • Rope Use - Yes.  It's a lot easier to get out of being tied up when you know how to tie them yourself
  • Knowledge (Spelljamming) - No.  To be honest, I thought that word was a joke right up until that Gnome hopped off the plank and started bobbing up and down like some sort of crazy cork.
  • Carpentry - No (shudder) I don't think I could ever settle for a normal job
  • Cooking - No.  I'm not really the domestic type
  • Heal - Yes, a little
  • Appraise - Some skill, yes. I learned from the best and I aim to be at his level one day
  • Spot - No better than your average four eyed Bardic College graduate. Right Phineas?
Are you a spellcaster? - Oh, you bet (wink)
Are you proficient in Siege Weapons? - No
Do you have the Technology feat? - No, but I am no stranger to it either

Castomel Springheel - Short, colorfully attired, pouch laden, slippery little fella

Do you have ranks in:
  • Profession (Sailor) - No. Hylo, where I'm from isn't by New Sea, that's a sea that formed after the Cataclysm...(40+ minute story)
  • Rope Use - Yes.  Of course.  What self respecting Kender doesn't know how to tie, or untie a few knots, you know, that reminds me...(50+ minute story)
  • Knowledge (Spelljamming) - No. But I heard...(30+ rambling story about flying citadels)
  • Carpentry - No It's mostly the older Kender that settle down to jobs like that.  We younger...(gods when will the stories stop)
  • Cooking - No. I'll just have what you're having, I'm not really picky...(is really picky, will tell you about why he is picky)
  • Heal - No.  But boy I can tell you times that would have come in handy.  have I ever told you that my Cousins, cousins, cousins, cousins, cousin knows Fizban personally...(40+ minute story)
  • Appraise - No Everything is valuable to someone. Why my own mother started an entire war over a napkin holder...(You've got hours right?)
  • Spot -Yes.  Kender eyesight is renown for it's sharpness just like that time...(you want time to end)
Are you a spellcaster? - No But I've known a few spell casters and most of them get cross if you even look at their stuff the wrong way
Are you proficient in Siege Weapons? - No, but Uncle Tarbuckle, yeah, we don't think his parents liked him either with a name like that,...(so...many...stories...)
Do you have the Technology feat? - No, That's a gnomish think right?

Ool'Varu - Humanoid, Tan pigment to skin sometimes fades to blue when walking moving, star-shaped mark on neck

Do you have ranks in:
  • Profession (Sailor) - No
  • Rope Use - No
  • Knowledge (Spelljamming) - No
  • Carpentry - No
  • Cooking - No
  • Heal - No
  • Appraise - No
  • Spot -Yes However, Unlike most humanoids, my kind do not 'see' in the traditional sense
Are you a spellcaster? - No
Are you proficient in Siege Weapons? - No
Do you have the Technology feat? - No

Feat with name to be determined that allows you to ignore the negative effects of gravity sickness.  This occurs when you cross the plane of a ship's gravity.  It also allows you to negate the effects of a different gravity than you are used to when visiting other planets.
Potential Feat Names?
  • Star-Forged Constitution
  • Void-Hardened
  • Inertial Fortitude
  • Aether-Balanced
  • Go with the Phlo
  • Wildspace Acclimation
  • Astral Anchor
  • Gravitic Adaptation

Damien would be an option.  He would be looking for any new frontier with significantly less Quan Yin in it.

An alternate title could have been "Beorn 'inadvertently' starts a human trafficking ring"

Esra suggests we be forthright about displacing entrenched the CB cult.
Iwakasi agrees.  We should tell them that we were sent out on a Holy mission by Yoshi (insert 2 generations of lineage), a cleric of the Oldest Orc.  We explain we removed the cult power of the Celestial delegation and now, the families that the power tricked into moving into the swamp need protecting.

We are looking for a Cleric of Habastly or Treetop willing to come out and protect the village and villagers long term.

Out Into the World / Re: On the Road to Lyneed, We Ran into Peril

The first night at the inn, while everyone is finishing up their evening meal, everyone overhears a familiar tune being played by that evenings performer, a halfling bard.  Everyone is concerned until they hear the lyrics...

🎭 Ode to the Last Great Bard
(Parody of one of Isaac's songs OoC:“If Today Was Your Last Day” )

[Verse 1]
He strode in with sequins, lute in hand
Said, “No need for a sword — I command!”
He charmed a sphinx with a single smirk, Then cried when his Glamered Boots got dirt
He'd adjust his cuffs in the midst of fights (Would you, Could you)

[Chorus]
🎵 If today was his last show,
We'd recall his boots not a killing blow
We’d remember his hair more than any foe (Would you, Could you)
He claimed he tanked with style and sass
But all his scrolls were framed headshots in glass
Ran from fights to preserve his ass (Would you, Could you)
🎵 If today was his last show, (Would you, Could you)
🎵 (If today was his last show)

[Verse 2]
He once seduced a banshee ghost
Said, “Even the dead know who shines the most”
Claimed his cologne caused enemies to rue
(Somnium, Somnium)
He kissed a prince, then blamed a spell
Then wrote a song called "Oops, But 'Eh',Oh Well"

[Chorus]
🎵 If this was his final tune,
We’d hum along out of pity, not swoon
Considered everyone not him a goon
He sang of honor, loss, and pride
Then tripped on his new Cape mid-stride
Announced his titles in every town
We’d let him believe he stole the glow
We’d read his poems etched in gold
About the time he “soloed” that kobold
He courted a dryad for her tree
Then posed beside it for publicity
Then rhymed his name six times with “divine”
🎵 If this was his final tune,

[Bridge – Spoken or sung softly]
🎵 If today was his last show,
🎵 His song was loud, but his sword stayed clean
🎵 Faced all dangers armed with charisma… and poor impulse control”
🎵 He was brave…His story… a one-man bardic fever dream, Let his legend fade, We’ll just call it our Ode to the Last Great Bard

[Chorus – Final Repeat]
🎵 If today was his last show,
We’d throw a toast and let him go
He’d encore three times against a foe.
He gave his all — of that, we’re sure
Just none of it helped the party endure
In the fray never once drew steel
He wore his ego like a blade
Sharp, untested, overly displayed
We’d hang his portrait in the bathroom stall
He'd end each fight unmarred
Let his legacy echo through the yard
In this, our Ode to the Last Great Bard
🎵 If today was his last show

As the halfling bard finishes, you hear a lot of cheering and laughing from the crowd

Additionally, the Celestial Bureaucracy and GoLK are still threats that need to be dealt with. So says Breach’s ghost.
I picture this as being tapped out in penile morse code

Jesse, Still a little (a lot) shaken from all of the companion deaths, isn't quite ready to return home.  He offers to go on the search for Roland.

Laz says: This is an easy decision. If the wizards can make us a passage that we can walk or run in and out of this place then we can go finish this off. If they can’t we leave.
"For those of us who can cast it,  it will take an hour to swap out the spells to shape the stone to make it so everyone can get down there safely"

Gareth says:

We may need to split up again. What if the gemlin mutant can use the lever to open the outer door?

Laz looks at him with barely controlled frustration. “If we split up and anyone else gets taken, there won’t be enough of us to come find you.”
Jesse says "I agree with Gareth.  And, though it kind of pisses me off to admit this, I agree with the slow witted lizard.  I think we should take the lift as high as it can go then make a run for the door to make sure it has remained closed.  Once we are sure that nothing has escaped, we can leave someone behind to close the door behind the rest of us like before.  Maybe even get Isaac and Vecci back inside to do it if they have been stuck outside the complex this whole time.  If something got out, well, then that's Iotts problem."

Akrah steps forward, growing larger.  " I managed swarms of little bugbears at home, flee if you must " she turns to Ozrick " I am immune to Ahhvokation.. douse me in your explosive fire.. " as she moves towards the swarm.
Jesse positions himself between Akrah and the hallway behind us.  "Good thought Laz, but we're not going to be able to outrun this.  The fastest of us should try to find Tae.  Fast.  The rest of us will hold them off as best we can."  Jesse casts Bless on everyone in a 50' radius.  "Take the Drow.  He's a lockpick.  Maybe he can help get the cell door open if necessary.
