Is martial what you are calling combat?  I would still like to look at a split and do Swords.

Yes Martial = Combat.

I think Swords is too specific.  It then begs, why not a Bows domain; or any other widely used weapon.  Unless you are calling it Swords but is more of a Weapon Combat domain.

I can make the argument that swords are a special case but I think you are right; I am falling into the trap of sphere of influence must equal domain, which is not what we are going for.

So I would say Weapons as a domain.  Han-Sui, Falan, Treetop, Mouser

I will work on it.  You can also consider if you want to then make Martial/Combat= Unarmed Combat instead.

How about Courage and Terror?

Acknowledging that we have 50 domains, we have quite a few deities, especially when we throw in the Quasi's. At 3+ domains per deity my concern is that we are going to have a large amount of cross over. I agree with the goal of no one deity domains but I don't think we want a bunch of deities with the same mix of domains.

I was thinking terror for Vishtoo and maybe Sutyr. Courage Stasis Gnarion and Tyro

Sutyr has Tyranny, Fire, and Destruction...which I think is a very good list for him.

Vishtoo has Unarmed, Fire, and Destruction...his can still be discussed.

Hero, your thoughts on Gnarion's?

I think Courage is suited to Tfop as well. The underdog standing up against overwhelming odds.

Check the 2nd sheet of the google doc for the latest for most of the domains.  Almost every domain (Healing is the only one not) is going to have at least one spell change.
