350 XP to everyone for good questions. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves as you have several hours of walking and hiking to the temple.
Feel free to post or email about your one day in Cape Tolya.
-
As we are walking Quorl does not engage anyone in conversation. He moves steadily toward the barracks(think that was first stop) at a measured pace. He seems intent on watching what is going on around you but if he is listening to your conversations he gives no sign of it.

"It is only three of us that speak the local language, and two the dialect. How many speak Grees or Horarian?"

OOO - now that I've leveled :)
" I speak Greean.. but i can communicate with any intelligent creatures here"
-
I am proficient in Horarian.
-
Lots of awkward silence on this trek. (Cricket, cricket)
-
"Have you ever been to this temple?" directed to our liaison.
-
"Been by it many times. Never had any official business though."
-
"Are there any dangerous creatures known to wander out there?"
-
"Well. I am sure there are some. Always is. But not many. Unless you go to ground."

"I would have though, with the food situation ad dire as it is, that there would not be anything more fearsome than a field mouse for miles. (looking up) Well, other than the Wyverns that is. Anything edible would have found a pot by now, and any animals that would eat those as well would have been driven off for lack of food, or found themselves in a pot as well."
-
"Do you know anything about the clerics that live there?"

"I am not talking about game animals. I thought he was talking about monsters and the like."
-

"No."

"I was talking about anything, monsters or game."
-
"I was talking about anything, monsters or game."
"Obviously, there is no game and I think if you went crawling around a sewer or some dark underground cave you can find yourself something unpleasant."
-
The definition of "game" is subjective depending on how hungry something is.

"Not as much as you'd think. Undead, Horarian thieves, Chosen raiders, demons; they are never game."
-

"How about out where we are going? What unpleasant could be there?"
-
"Alright...Robert is it? How many times do I need to say things. There is not much around here besides people, understand? If you have your heart set on something terrible I'll show you to the sewers."

"Why are the sewers so dangerous?"

"Why are the sewers so dangerous?"
Quorl stops his thus far methodical trip through the city. He stares at Robert and by his facial expressions is having some sort of mental battle with himself. Looks like he takes a somewhat calming breath, shakes his head and then continues on, without answering the question.
