The scene before you is bloody.

The top of the hill is covered in tiger gore and a headless titan.

The tent that Banar had come out of has been knocked over.  Several of you a sorting through its contents.

The strong wind continues to blow from the same direction.

The tigers, which still number dozens, including half of them which are dire tigers, have retreated to the bottom of the hill and farther.  Some fled all together, but most, a minute after Banar's death, are still within sight.

There are three tents remaining standing.

Lennie is slumped on the ground, unconscious.  Ikraam is still tied to the posts, his sword in the ground in front of him.

At the bottom of the hill, where you came up, the grass is on fire and it is slowly spreading (due to the meteor swarm).

Above you, moments after you killed the woman (titan), storm clouds begin to materialize overhead.

Keep all of your hp and spells listed, as we will pick up next time shortly after we ended.

How long does the 'wall of fire' last?

How about the Blade Barrier?

You notice the Roc is circling high overhead.

Spaz also notices that the bird legged, blue skinned, fire winged huntress is much closer than she had been (still 1000 feet or so away, but she had been farther).

Post by: whitesword on July 27, 2012, 06:14:39 PM
Can you tell me exactly what is the winged huntress?  Between Dovin and Acyll I would think we should be able to figure it out.

An Asura.

The "Wall of Fire"  last forever :)
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Asinjin on July 27, 2012, 06:43:27 PM
Okay, then to be clear, Valizar can see all I have described, as can Spaz.  Everyone else is relying on their descriptions.  The 'wall of fire' blocks everyone else's vision.
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Windblade on July 27, 2012, 07:58:44 PM
Unless they realize Spaz did it and it would be an easy to disbelieve.
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Asinjin on July 27, 2012, 08:46:54 PM
Even if they disbelieve the wall as real fire, it would still block their vision, at least partially.

Post by: Hero on July 27, 2012, 09:09:38 PM
Haas has True Seeing up.

Blade Barrier will last for another 14.5 min.

I start working on Ikraam's bonds.

"We should not dwell here. We leave in 5 min."
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Malchia on July 27, 2012, 09:26:08 PM
Valizar tears Ikraam's bonds off as long as it doesn't hurt him in any way.  He'll carry him and Lennie if need be.  He's still enlarged.  We loot what we can and get the hell out of here post haste.
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Asinjin on July 27, 2012, 10:02:47 PM
Let me know if anyone casts any spells or does anything specific in the first minute.

Valizar has no problems removing the bonds from Ikraam.

Who, if anyone removes anything from Banar or the titan?

Who is holding, if anyone, the mithral spear?

There is also: Banar's longbow, a quiver of arrows (which is invisible except to Haas) although several of you run into it and hence you realize its their, Banar's tiger leather armor, the titan's armor is torn apart when the body grows.

There is an invisibility purge up as well.

Are Ikraam and Lennie conscious?

They are not.  Someone will have to perform a check or cast a spell to determine why they are not.

I just scrounge around for my dad's money.  Once I gather all the coin, and see no more, I cast "Detect Magic" on myself.

What is in the tent is not pleasant to any of you, although some of you can guess at the uses for the 'tools' and 'toys'.

You do find a scattering of gems and coins, not gathered in any one place (whether they were before the fight, wind and titan is difficult to tell).

Heal check = 21.

Also, Haas got a level. Obviously can't level up now.

That level is already priced into the tournament.

They are breathing, deeply.  Your best guess would be poison, or a spell that mimics it.

Ogdo, who appears hurt but not near death, says, "Tyrogatore is mighty indeed!  You are incredible warriors!"
Title: Re: A Banner Day
Post by: Malchia on July 28, 2012, 09:50:07 AM
Haas, I suggest we ride on the breath of Tyrogatore's roar to leave the area.  I can carry Lennie, Ikraam, and Reik if it is possible to do so while wind walking.

If that is not possible, then I will lay down Tyrogatore's wrath upon anyone who enters this area.  Ogdo and I will help remove whatever treasure remains from the pummeled corpses of Tyrogatore's enemies.  We can also carry anything left behind once we are finished carrying out our martial justice.

(bleeding from every seam and join in the masterwork armor, his beard braid mostly matted red twirling a souvenir deflected arrow in his fingers) "Scaled one.. you'll have to use that mighty fist on me till i'm dead before i allow you to carry me on any infernal wind walk."

Battered and bruised, Grant walks up. "The Guardians still hold the bulk of Baners forces attention." As he walks by them, Reik, Valizar, and Ogdo get a cure serious wounds cast on them.   The mass lesser vigor is still in effect as well but will probably end before the minute is done.
Tuu can speak whatever that flying creature is and convince it that its services are no longer needed seeing as the one who summoned it is dead.  Father Haas, Dovan, and Acyll find what you can in the tents and on Baner and that other thing and see if there is something that will revive Brother Leonard and Ikraam."

Dovin goes to the highest point of the hill and says in celestial (shouting):  Servants of the the Beastlands, I am Dovin Coril, the Shadow Breaker among the Guardians.  I am a child of Bytopia and my brethren have stood beside you in battle many times.  Those here with me today sought no quarrel with Banar or his woman.  We came only to retrieve their comrades but Banar would only accept payment in blood.  Now he is fallen and here he shall lay until you collect him.  We seek to leave in peace; let us pass and let there be no more loss of life; for it is the worst sort of evil when the children of the Light fight one another over petty things. ( My Diplomacy check is a 33)

The Asura continues to close in, although still several hundred feet away.

The Roc begins to fly away.

The tigers continue to pace.

A look of concern comes across Haas' face.

"Grant, are you aware how the plane shift blessing works? It is not accurate, placing the subjects anywhere from a few miles to a few hundred miles from the intended destination. Each casting differs. I tell you this because we are casting this spell twice. Our groups will not likely arrive on Habololy anywhere near each other.

We should separate the 2 groups, I will take those who have received the Wind Walk blessing you take those who have not. Once back on Habololy, Tyrogatore will lead me to your location."

I'm not sure what came over him.  Maybe Haas knocked some sense into him the last time they "argued."  Or maybe he's just feeling confident after unleashing the beast on Banner's minions.  ;)
