Reik grabs some dirt, rubs in on himself. I'm ready!

Over the days, each morning, items of comfort of sleeping appear in the keep.
Valizar receives the most. The items are not finely made, but nonetheless comforting. Cushions, blankets, bits of food.
Those who do not stay in the keep receive nothing.

The week you are there is from the 8th day of the 9th month to the 15th day of the 9th month.

Ogdo the Rhek realizes on his first night at the keep, that he cannot stay within the keep's wall. He feels sick after a few hours.
Danis the Faithfilled, Urisnal Guardian, believes it is because the keep is cut off from the other planes.

On the 5th day, Danis arrives with some news.
"Our agents in the Beastlands tell us that your companions are still alive, but that the ogre is missing an arm."

The townsfolk are all happy, despite being aware that a battle is likely coming in the coming months. They treat you all respectfully, and offer you food.

At one point, Ellic stops by, as he does every day, and asks, "If you would like, we have a ranger that specializes in fighting Lyncanthropes. I have called him in from the forest. He can talk to you about fighting the were-creatures."

Is there one among your people who could hasten our travels? A divine blessing that would allow us to travel overland more quickly?

I have always wanted to go on your flying ship. That sounds like a great idea.

Reik gets an uneasy feeling in his stomach. Flying ship eh... Something tells me the aren't held aloft by the graces of Treetop. Not for me, what's wrong with two feet, i gaft given to you, that you are meant to use!

Ellic says, "Captain Eliver will be here aboard the Whiskaway in a few days."

Not quite what I had in mind. I was thinking more along the lines of some way to hasten our travel once we were on the Beastlands. I doubt the this airship would be making that journey with us.

Ellic nods, "I can ask Tali and the others, but I am sure there is some spell that will increase your speed for a day."
OOC: They have all the knowledge, so feel free to suggest a spell out of character.

No cleric spells increase speed for an appreciable duration that I'm aware of (would cast it myself if there were).
May be a ranger spell or one of the new domains? Or psionic power would work too.

How do spells that effect outsiders work on other planes? For instance, outsiders can bypass anti-life shell. If I cast that in the Beastlands, what happens?

Everything is reversed. You are the outsider and they are the prime inhabitants. Magic comes from the plane you are on, so it would effect them.

How close will we arrive to Banner's encampment? Feet, yards, miles?
Do we have any information on where Brother Leonard and Ikraam are being kept?

Danis is able to tell you the following: "We could have you arrive very close, but the surprise of it may cause them to flee. If you want to defeat him, capture him, We can deliver you several minutes away. Hopefully. Spells of interplanar travel can go off course."

So we do not need to assault this mad man's home to recover my Brother and Ikraam? What is stopping us from simply collecting them and leaving?
How heavily guarded are they?

So you are suggesting we direct our attention towards Banner rather than our companions?

Will a blessing such as "morale facade" prevent the chaotic residents of the Beastlands from sensing our presence?

Danis says, "Yes, you have prayed well. That is a spell we use to mask ourselves on the planes. There are ways around it, and Banar himself can probably circumvent it, but it will go far in ensuring no random wandering petitioners or the like stumble upon you, or track you down."

The day before we are to depart Dovin seeks out Ellic. Commander, if I do not return from this would you see to it that my sword is returned to the Temple and in the meantime, keep it secured somewhere you trust it will not be disturbed? I unbuckle my sword belt and hand over by Kovan Marked blade.

Ellic looks at the blade and you, "It will be placed in our safest vault until your return. You have my word, that should you not, I will deliver it personally to the temple." He views it and holds it with the reverence you would hope for and expect.
