The note is written in common, in a heavy scrawl, on a torn sheet of parchment. It says: “Every night while you dream of glory I draw the world into shadow.”

After briefly inspecting the other two wagons, Vanyar says: “We are not taking these into the castle. There is a jousting field and stables not far to the East. I’ll retrieve draft horses and return.”

Each wagon contains roughly the same number of heads, approximately 300. They are mostly adult males. Some are cut cleanly but others appear torn or hewn off.

Asinjin:
We should spend time giving them all proper services and then talking to the dead.
