The Curse of Elysium
« on: July 26, 2021, 03:20:09 PM »
The members of the sect are constantly exposed to the magic of Elysium and some are negatively affected by it.

Prerequisites: Guardian sect member

Penalty: A character with this feat takes an additional two points of damage per attack from silver weapons.

This one would rarely come up in game unless DM was specifically trying to target it. How many times have we encountered a bad guy wielding a silver weapon? ~None, I think.

Anti feats should have some impact on a character’s actions. Not sure how to modify this one.

I had the same thought but i think as it is with most anti-feats it is up to the player and DM to make it work so i think this will be only used in case where it will work and I  sure if one takes it then they will be guaranteed to see a silver weapon

I think to make it balanced there would have to be some additional stipulations added.  Silver weapons always overcome the character's damage reduction, even if gained through other means (stoneskin).  Character takes temp. ability damage if coming into contact with silver.

Better be careful receiving change. “Can I get that in coppers?”

How about if the character is also hedged out by protection from good/magic circle as if it was a summoned creature?
