We also made Arcane Ranger which is the newest ranger variant. Wignston is one of them and he is a big worshipper of Melodi and I think it was decided that the Arcance ranger tradition came out of the bardic college and Melodi influenced it.  That is if I remember correctly.  So Melodi might have a lot of arcane rangers instead of paladin variations.

Could be an opportunity to create a new Paladin type.  We have Paladin, Feyalin, Kendalin, and Paladi Anthichi.  Now we just need the Melodian; a Bard-based Paladin that heals and turns through song and performance.

Lakius (Neutral Good)

The years between Counsil meetings are turbulent for Lakius.  It was not because of the reign of Iott, or the difficulties with arcane magic.  The religion struggled between two competing views of the faith going forward.  Eventually, the faction favoring a return to traditional Lakian ways championed by now high cleric Nathan won the day.

A good number of clerics an faithful that had been faithful because of their adherence to hermitage and solitude left the religion.  They took some other with them, who were convinced the Lakius they knew was gone.  This drop in number of faithful and the near abandonment of the tenants of solitude and hermitage lead to Lakius being demoted to a Demi power in 816.

What remains of his faith is strong and determined to bring back the master of the seas as protector of water and air.  Nathan is high cleric and he strives long and hard to bring back members that left and evangelize to more.  He meets frequently with the other creator deities and looks to re-forge those bonds that had existed for so long.

Falan (Chaotic Good)

The years between Counsils were a struggle for Falan.   Many of his faithful devoted themselves fully to destroying the undead, but this prevented his other aspects from expanding. His inability to marshal a meaningful force to combat Sutyr, Chaos, Dresta or Kallark was a clear sign of weakness. Falan finds himself more isolated on the Counsil, with only Stasis and Arsur’anyodel steadfast allies.

His high clerics convened a meeting at the high temple in Hertopowlis in early 792 to resolve which temple would replace Portet as first among equals. By that time Iott was clearly ascendant and that played a large role in the debate. After months of debate the high temple was moved to Amansky and officially proclaimed on the Day of Magic 793.

During this council William Summerlight formally retired as Falan’s champion. Though well shy of old age for a Drow Elf, Sir William was demoralized by the consequences of the Severing and the destruction wrought by the aspect obelisk. Esetia of Magenthia was named champion. She was slain sometime in the mid-790’s. No new champion has been named. Clement of Pacyr is Falan’s most powerful servant, though he is over 90 years old.

Befitting of the placement of the high temple in Amansky, the current high cleric is a Sakor'akai named Karsah known as the Lifebringer.  Having worshipped Falan from a young age as the creator of the Sakor’aki, he was fascinated by biology and living things of all sorts. He traveled abroad before the reign of Iott to study on the Great Plateau, where he had heard of Lansin.  He also studied in the Academy in Amansky, but only briefly as he preferred to be in the field.

 Vestilion had a pretty sweet era transition. 
- Mass deaths due to plagues, people choosing eternal life = win
- War with Iott = win
- Destruction of Suytr = win 
- The Necromancy stone hung around longer then most = win
- Masochistic Falan demoted  = win
- Full of himself Stasis drifts farther out to the planes = win

TLDR - win Win WIN WIN!!!!     
Most of the time after that was filled with "Elevation Celebration" 


There is a High Cleric with saggy flesh arms, balding head, more burnt then tan skin, singed hair, with a pretty "smoking" elven vampire girl friend, that rides around on a walking throne made of bones...
