You have confirmed that via Luigi's Analyze Dwoemer spell.

Ok, then I await a consensus on what to do.

Can Enzo ask his charmed giants if they know who has the other portal or if there are more than just two?  That may influence our decision.

If not, I say Disjunction it.

I assume that Enzo agrees.  They don't know about the portal other than it exists.  They are not from Cald.

I'd like to ask if they've seen where prisoners items were kept after being taken and sent to the pits, in particular, Quentin's items (boots and pendant).

Do I feel the pull of Quentin's ring when I'm near the portal?

They say that Bereth took everything and handed out some items to the allies to appease them.  That is as far as they know, but none of them were close to Bereth.

You are not pulled towards the portal.

Does it strike anyone else as weird that they would have an item, so important to their cause out here in a poorly protected camp?  Wouldn't something like this, especially if they planned to wait years be in some stronghold?  Do we have any other information on these agents from cald.. do they have a stronghold?  If not this was a poorly planned invasion.

I think if we destroyed it we would be passing up some great opportunities.  I am against destroying it at least for now.

Just some back drop that Enzo knows and was passed on in parts so far:

This camp last year was the base for thousands of Chosen, Barbarians, and giants who were laying siege to Dramman and had control over dozens of barbarian towns.

At one time, from this camp they controlled thousands of square miles of land.

Ok.. ok.. so lets talk about this more rationally.. If we wanna keep it and lay a trap, we need a way of controlling it. Meaning not allowing it to open in the middle of the night and spew forth undead, slaadi, or deamons of cold.  I know we can stick this in a anti-magic zone, but that might prevent them from scrying it, and falling into the trap. (this is outside of the scrying range on the picture) So.. does anyone one have good ideas?  I mean, I can put a contingency up, and if the gate opens cast an anti-magic zone on it.  But that'a really not a long term solution for me.  Any ideas?

By this time, Daane has made his way up to Cloud and is beginning to be brought up to speed.

Note that Enzo is listening, but has no opinion on whether it should or should not be disjunctioned.

Between your knowledge and your spell, you are sure that it only goes to Cald.  Of course, those creature could be on Cald waiting.

Once again, due to your spell and your Arcane knowledge (between all of you); you believe that the item can only be used by someone who has a specific type of knowledge (religion, planar, or such) AND is either of worshiper of a specific deity or has access to a specific domain.

You do not know which side it can be opened from, or possible from either.
