It has yet to be determined how long you stay at the college.  Currently, there is no time by which you have to leave, although it may get hectic when the new school semester begins.

We no longer have an item to use as a focus so our odds of success are not very good. It would help if we had a target other than the cleric as he appears sufficiently powerful to resist.

Can the wizards use the crystal ball to scry and then plan our attack?  If so then Cloud does that.

You need to have something to scrye.  You have not met anyone at the camp, nor do you have any items from it.  Enzo, Malchia, and Owen could scrye it, if they had the spell.

If Malchia lends Cloud the Belt of Sorcerous Prowess taken from the gaurd at camp, could he use that to scry?

This is why we borrowed the blanket that belonged to the war leader. We can go back to Dramman and try again but he made a high save so I would not expect a different result.

There is the issue of getting the blanket for use.  But yes, in theory that should work.

Daane suggests, "How about a scrye location spell?  It might be tough since you've never been there, but You have a chance."

After consideration, the wizards believe they would need to make a DC (20 base + 15 distance +5 2nd hand knowledge - 4 Malchia and Enzo having been there connection) for a total of DC 36 on a caster level check.

Like Scrye, if you fail you can't try again for a day.  Unlike Scrye, there is no save against it, since it is an area, not a person.  The college has this spell in its arsenal, since its a bard spell.
