For your own benefit and for those confined to desk duty a recap would be advisable
-
Do we have to make a report to someone higher up every week, or month; on our progress?
-
I have written up a review of the last session on the campaign logs on the website.

Sgt. Windbourne replies: When I spoke to the acting First Deputy he only wanted to know when we had an actual lead or confirmation of Falce's death. We have neither so nothing to report.
-
I would say cricket cricket but its too cold in Phiam for them right now . . .
-
To my fellow constables, "What do we want to pursue now? I don't think we should look for the dead woman. Nor do I think going after the cane will help. Perhaps now that Vassilli can read items, we can go to Stormmoon's home and review some."
-
We could also see what we can find out about Charlene from Lady Luxuries.

You can begin either of these here.

We get a report on Lady Luxuries from the constables in its area to see what we can expect to find.

i have yet to read the ability...
But if I can, from my desk, i check on the others, and on the northern wall.

The establishment is a well known nuisance in your area and it has been raided from time to time but with little success. In 783 there was a fight there involving spells from both sides that heavily damaged the building. The veterans from your station expected it to be permanently shut down but it was refurbished and reopened in a few months. The building is believed to have hidden rooms and hidden entrances for discretion.

Who are the current owners? When was the last time ownership changed?

There is no easy way for you to find the owners. It would be recorded in Messada and even when travel is easy it would likely take weeks to look up. None of the veterans know.
-
Should we go there and ask if they remember an employee named Charlene?
How to constables more familiar with the establishment think that visit would go over?

That gets you a good laugh. Most likey their answer would be I don't remember anyone by that name ever working here.

Their employees probably go home at some point, right? Maybe we should stake the place out and stop a cook or a bartender when they leave.
-
Timeline question...Charlene died while she was employed by the Luxuries, right?

They don't employ a cook from what you have learned. Maybe a bartender.

You do not have an answer to that. She left the Down Bed and went to work for LL but if she was still employed there at the time of her death is undetermined.

How about asking some clients that we known visited there in the month she would have been there if they remember her?
Or perhaps, clothing merchants or pawn shops near to the Lady Luxuries?
Do the constables have a sketch artist that we can use to have a picture of her drawn?

You would have to track them down.
There are no shops in the immediate area
Yes. Who are you going to get to work with the artist?
-
We should get descriptions from Cobis and the pawn shop owner.

To work with the artist they actually have to sit with them for an hour or so. How do you think that will go over with Cobus?
-
The Sgt. finds out that there was a sketch done when she was found. It is in the archives and he orders it.
-
Uleric, at one point turns to the Sgt. "Am I correct in assuming that this Cobus is a known criminal figure? One does not usually come by the moniker 'the Shark' in most legitimate lines of work. Are we not supposed to report such contact to our superiors?"
To the others: "Do we know if the sketch of the girl was shown to Stormoon's employees? He would not be the first man in history to try to heal the wound in his heart in the arms of a younger woman."
Going back to the dinner Stormoon had the night he died, what area of the city lies to the east of where the dinner took place?

The Sgt. says "no, we don't have to report contact with informants. You would ordinarily have to report it to me but I was there."
No, there is no reason that her picture would have been shown to the staff; you are the first people to connect her to Falce.
The Councilwoman's home lies near the east end of the city so there is not much between there and the water.

"Then I suggest we speak to Stormoon's staff and show them the picture of the girl. Maybe it will jog some memories and generate some new leads."
