I will be posting happenings in the city that you hear about either in the paper or through word of mouth.

23rd Leenot 786 - Report from the canton of Barthelem - workers recently uncovered a clicker buried from the time of the War of Technology.  While excavating for construction of a new row of homes, the workers hit something.  After examination, they determined they should call in some experts.  The experts concluded it was an old clicker and cordoned off the area so they could better dig out the clicker.  Citizens are advised to remain clear of the area until the work is complete.

This story appeared in the Vabun Times and the Twin Cities Post.

26th Leenot 786 - A rare brazen daylight armed robbery took place at Exotic Buds in Mazarg canton.  The assailant entered when no one else was in the shop and demanded goods and coin from the owner, Herman Sfop.  The robber used a small blade and was in the shop for about a minute.  Passersby saw him flee the shop laden with bags.  He is described as a short human with average skin tone and no facial hair.  He was dressed in typically clothing for the weather; pants, shoes, shirt.  If any one has any information about this crime, please go to your local constable.  The owner is offering a reward for the return of his merchandise, unused.

1st Mafeeti 786 - Today, Raygen the Liberator is due to arrive in the city.  His last appearance came a year ago and speculation is that his arrival precipitated the downfall of the notorious Barot's Guild.  Although some believe that his latest pilgrimage to Port Talp has to due with another guild, it is more likely that he has come to participate in the not so well kept secret conference to discuss the city's possible entry into the Coastal Sea War.  If that is his reason, it should not be doubted that his presence will mean that the city is going to be going to war on the side of the Republic; an action whose consequences cannot be predicted.
