I remember you describing a large city or metropolis setting off in the distance in fake Yellowia after Gareth cast his spell, but maybe I'm mistaken.

There were a numbers of towns in 'fake Yellowia' none were a large city.  You can ask about one of those.

Gareth detected this large area where the Kobolds are and then a number of towns to the east.  Which are you referring to?

Because this came up in session a few weeks ago:

Time Check
Divination
Level: Brd 0, Clr 0, Rgr 1, Sor/Wiz 0
Components: S
Casting Time: 1 standard action or see
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 hour

Upon casting this spell, you immediately learn the precise time of day to the nearest second and the date, as well as the elapsed time since your last casting of this spell ended. On your turn while the spell is active you may spend a move action to learn the current time and date, as well as the elapsed time since this spell was cast.

Every time a character casts this spell he may set the location to be used as a basis for determining the information provided. The default location is his current one. The caster must be familiar with the location selected or succeed on a DC 20 Knowledge (local or planes) check.

Casters with the Chronomancy feat or the Time domain cast this spell as a swift action, and only  need to spend a swift action to gain relevant information.

To the 'learn current time and date', I think that may require a higher level version of the spell, or some added restrictions about where you are.  Alternatively, a DM discretion about it simply not being powerful enough to answer based on factors.

Taye, out of curiosity, who was it that you contacted initially?  I'm trying to determine if that person or persons were a long lived species.  Also, what did you tell them and what was their response?

It was one of the emporer's aides, an orc.

I sift through the loose dirt too.

You are able to get down two feet into the loose ground where the skeletons came from, who find nothing else of note.

Yoshi takes 20 (total 25) to search the area where the orc skeletons came from. Looking for any of their former belongings that might provide a clue as to where/when we are. A coin with a year stamped on it, a military insignia, etc.

You find no weapons or armor, some shredded clothing made of leather.  The ground is loose where they came out of it.

I should note that for a second night your sleep is uncomfortable and restless.  If you make a heal check, you get 1 hp per level, otherwise none.  It takes you an extra two hours to recover spells and PSP are gained at one rate slower.

Lastly, is there anything growing in this land that appears fertile?  We encountered a forest, but are the trees wilted and dying like the grouping we camped in?  Are there any nuts, fruits, or grains that can be picked and harvested?  If not, I'll continue to focus on the Creation domain so I can feed and hydrate us all.   

The trees were growing in a typical fashion.

Terlus was beginning to gather things to eat in the forest.  The broken lands are much more barren.
