Treetop's Domains

He used to have only Animal and Good.  With additional ones being Fey and Zeal.  Evidence that this project needed to be done.

Obviously, he keeps Animal.

Possible other ones (needs four):

Plant (his name is after all TREEtop; he is patron of the jungles)

Glory (defeat of the drow; patron of the Order of the Sunlight Below; enemy of the undead)

Community (his replacement for good; a deity that promotes good society among animal and person)

Beauty (new domain to include art, music, and beauty; to be shared with Melodi)

Missing one apect of Treetop...ranged combat.

Those four I agree with, but he should have five based on his greater deity status.

I was thinking about that, but a domain for ranged combat seems too specific.  It would, however, be used for him and Tepfershot, the pistolier quasi deity for whom I am missing a 2nd domain.

Might be able to make "combat" general enough to apply to any weapon, fist, sword, or bow. Let me think on it.

I had a thought about making a vision domain, filled with all things that helped with ranged combat and sight.

Darkvision, Low-light vision, Eagle Eye, True Seeing, etc.

I don't like Glory for him. While he played a part in the defeat of the spider queen it was just a part and not something that is really in his core.

So  is it Plant, Animal, Community, Martial/Combat, Vision?

Treetop is proving a tricky one, but Plant and Animal are definite.

I am leaning towards a vision / ranged domain.

We are building the Community / Family one, so I don't know if that will make sense for him.

With the Ranged / Vision feat, I don't know if Martial / Combat will be needed.

Zunder, as the ranking cleric of Treetop, look at the master list and see if there are others you think work.

I agree he needs those three.  Animal, Plant, and Combat or Ranged Combat, the other one is tricky.  I can see travel (for animal herds, and migrations) and sun ( for plants).. maybe.

Sun is a good idea.  Hadn't thought of Travel.

I might go with Martial. I think of Treetop as a very primal power and the list, even with 8 and 9 unsettled fits him and the Jungle Elves well. Of the list above I would put Travel first (who other than TM has it?) and Community next. I don't see Beauty/Art and I would only give him Creation if  all four of the original powers are getting it and maybe Frostine.
