I can try to help narrow it down.  Not water I would stick with Lakius and elemental deities for that one.  Not Magic because I have never really associated him with magic.   Liberation also doesn't seem right.  I would stick with one of the other ones you suggested.

Solaris had good, glory and healing.   You took care of the good issue that we discussed by creating the redemption domain. 

Nathan had Water and Storm.  I like the idea of storm because it combines water and air.

I think what everyone is saying is that the DoF doesn't fill that role very well because if I remember correctly it includes other aspects of Falan that aren't necromancy.  So the "true necromancer" who is purely magic and undead focused is missing.  We discussed this before when we went over prestige classes but you didn't seem too concerned that we didn't fill that role.   Although I disagree because Necromancers are a part of Habololy tradition and they have been some powerful & prominent enemies.

I just wanted to say I do agree with you.  I brought this up with DM when I was reviewing prestige but he didn't seem interested in having a regular necromancer(white or dark) but I can't remember why.  Maybe he will let us know.

The only thing is I wouldn't create the cap based on attack bonus because it doesn't effect low level people nearly enough which was part of the issues.  I would say use your system but a minimum penalty of -5 or -10 or something like that must be assigned.

I still like it but I misread it.   I would have it not related to attack bonus.  Just a -1 to the attack roll for each additional rolling critical because as it stands right now it doesn't impact a low level character really at all and that is part of the issue.

I assume Detect blessing is also a 0 level cleric spell.   I also cast it to help out Harrick.  I have a +11 to my religion check.   I have Identify memorized also for the same reason Harrick does.  So if we have enough money we can cast it on the other items.  I would have discussed this most likely before Emits left so he would come back with 2 pearls if possible.
