Title: Lament, Envy, and Thorns Win the Fight
Post by: Asinjin on October 11, 2019, 09:03:31 AM
Which ones are alive?

How heavy are these guys?

Can someone figure out if they have any removable gear?

Should we take them inside the warehouse to interrogate?

I search them for timers of any type that might explode or set off something.

We should definitely bring them inside the warehouse for questioning, but it may be wise to search the wagon for any tracking devices or traps first.

I don't think any of them are dead, so we should be able to question them all.

I'll help to disarm them all.  I believe Scorpinox already had his tail removed thanks to Miser's Envy.

Dissa will stabilize everyone.  She will have the Celestial Lion drag the heavier people into the warehouse.

On another note.  we really should think about buying this place (under a shell company of course).  We use it an awful lot

Is the thorn wall dismissable?

No.  But it only lasts 10 min/level.  So less than 2 hours to go. or we can use magic fire to get rid of it in half the time.

We will have to work around it.  I neither want to start a fire nor be here for that long.

If it’s from the “thorn pouch” in MIC, I think the duration is 9 rounds.

Bonsai has one. It’s a good item.

Nothing looks about to " blow up" as best as you can figure out.

everyone is normal weight, except Skorponox, he takes 2-3 of you to move.  You notice 6-7 different globes of liquid within the tip of his tail.

Does anyone stabilize them?

That's up to Dissa and possibly Ilya.  I think they may be the only ones capable of healing.

Saewurg gains a level (as soon as we have a chance to rest).

Are we able to remove the globe's from the tail?  If not, are the tech savvy among us able to determine which one is healing and at least try to disable or destroy it?  I'd hate for him to restore his health while we're interrogating him.

I review the globes and see if it is reasonable to try and remove them.

I am little help moving heavy bodies.

Also, we shouldn’t stay here for interrogations. The Grey Vests will be here soon. Let’s grab one of the Arsenists and go. Can we make Skorponox more portable?

Did Clawful remove Skorponox's tail?  I have a memory of that happening, or maybe it was just that he severed a fuel line or something like that.  Can anyone confirm?

Should we use the hotel that we've been using for interrogations?  If not there, maybe we can use the brothel.  I believe the madam owes us one for not killing her that day.

Whatever place is closest and easiest to conceal our movement.  These Gree are not easy to disguise.

Dissa chimes in "Well, it's a good thing they brought a handy dandy carriage then isn't it.  Let's throw them in there and use it to get where we need to go."

Is the carriage big enough for all of them?

On a side note, Dissa may want to have the Mephit stop pulling the yo-yo string.  We don't want to summon anyone else to our location before we get these guys carted off.

The summons wouldn't have lasted much past when Scorpinox and his gang arrived.  If it is still there, I will tell it to stop playing with the yo-yo

That's good.  Every time you summon something, I just figure it'll be around for 24 hours.

Last session of the season this Thursday, anything we can get done on the boards to make sure we have time this week?

I think we could bring our unconscious friends to the hotel or brothel (doesn't really matter) and ask them a few questions, but really, what's the point?  We already know they're middlemen for the Cult of GoLK.  I say we drop them off, put the fear of God into them, then go rest for the night.  After we recover our spells, we follow the path of Valerie and go pick a fight with the circus.

Could Scorp lead us to the GoLK agents?  They are our goal, so if he can we don't need to bother the circus.

We can try, but we'll need to come up with some compelling questions.  Now is the time to ask while they're weak and susceptible to our charms.

We don’t need all of the Arsenists, just Skorponox. Let’s loot the lackeys for magic items, credits, and other valuables, and leave them for the Grey Vests.

Agreed.  Should we take the wagon or just disguise Skorponox with a spell or potion?  Where should we take him?

Don’t think we can use the wagon - wasn’t it pulled by the multi-legged gree?

I don’t have the ability to magically disguise him. I could do a silent image to make him look like a large piece of luggage or something, but that will only work within 800 ft or so.

Let’s sneak him in to a nearby hotel with the illusion just so we can get off the streets quickly. Then we can take our time to figure out a different place to interrogate and means of transportation.

If Razilav can figure out what the liquids in his tail do, we may get lucky with one being able to disguise him in some way.

Can some detect magic on the liquids?

If they are not magical, I will try, otherwise I don't think I can help.
