Castle Moten is built into the base of the mountains, in a gap.  The wall constructed forms a natural line with the mountain range that would not be there otherwise.  It is made of stone that matches the color of the mountain where stone is visible (noting as stated that significant parts of the mountains are dirt and foliage covered).  Above the thirty foot wall, you can see two towers, one at each end of the wall nearest the mountain side.  The only other thing visible above the wall is a ledge and save nearly one hundred feet up, and three times that far back from the wall.

Ilya has told you, "There are dozens of stone structure behind the wall and leading a bit up the side of the mountain.  Its not a full town, but there is everything you need to sustain  an fighting force.  We had stocked it with food and munitions.  The cave above offers an excellent view and there have been rooms dug out inside for protection and safe storage."

You are now into the rainy season, known as Barsh.  There is an odd effect that you experience on this side of the mountain.  One storm must have broken on the other side and will you can hear thunder, and at one point a but of rain echoing through the mountains, this side remains dry.  You can tell as the streams run hard down the mountain that a storm was be raging in them.  Many birds, lots of eagles flock to the dry side to wait out the storm.  High up, you se a battle between spiders, also seeking a dry area, and eagles.

Ilya has also told you, "When I last left, there castle was guarded by Dromites and our dwarven allies.  They had also recruited a few Hil-jan-i-on." He says that slowly to get it correct, however later he says it quicker.  It is an elven word, so as you speak to each other (mainly in elven) is sounds normal.  "Those creatures are cousins of the Dromite, with six limbs and native to the Kuivama.

He tells this to Char at some point, "Our allies are luring the Green horde towards the castle in hope that they will attack it to defeat it and one of the few forces that can oppose it.  Other of our allies have been looking for warriors to join the cause, I quested to look for heroes."

The attack by the Marchikalea did not seem particularly odd to those among you that would know; Ben, Warren, and Char.  They saw a small pack of delicacies and went to catch what they thought was an easy meal.  Those type do travel in packs of that size.

The name given to them by the Night Elves and used by other is the Nopejalka.  Here is an idea of what it looks like:

A side note, as Ilia tells what armaments exist in the castle.  To all of you, siege weapons are basically unknown.  With very few castle or fortifications of any type, there is little need.  Also, with no large sailing ships, that possible reason is gone as well.  The closest things that would qualify are large crossbows and rams.
