"If there is nothing else, I need to rest."

Just before I sleep for the night, I will cast Discern Location for Marius, using the arm band.
It is still before dinner.

Martine Vanyar walks forward from the back of the room. He is now fully armed; in addition to his mantle a set of admantium ring mail over black leather armor that looks very similar to Ari's, a short sword on his belt and another on his back and on his left arm a black, admantium, circular shield.  The shield has an edge around its entire circumference and looks slightly too large for Vanyar's compact frame.

"In the morning I will take a team to the two army headquarters and convey your orders."

He was speaking to Arian, correct?

"Can we expect these orders to face any resistance, other than grumbling, from anyone in the field?"

He appears to be speaking to Arion. To whom is your question being posed?  Is it a pronouncement for all to hear?

If Martine is leading us back, then to him.

Martine looks to Arion, who clearly has no idea. Howland answers, speaking for the first time: "The generals will obey any order in my name that Lord Vanyar delivers. I will tell them that the council has recognized Arion's claim to the throne and he will be crowned as soon as possible. The question of course is are the generals who they seem or have they been replaced or controlled?"

"So there is no general who you think would possibly deny the claim and refuse the orders, assuming the general has not been adapter replaced."

That question is met with awkward silence. Lira shoots you a look.

You get the impression he is not inclined to answer your questions. It doesnt seem personal just protocol.

cricket.....cricket....................cricket.....cricket......... "Ahem," Parker clears his throat.  "To completely change the subject for a minute, I believe that I may have a solution to identifying the adapters.  If we take into account what the apparent leader of the adapters here is the castle told us, as well as our own observations, I believe that the spell 'Treasure Scent' can be used to identify the adapters.  I know the spell, and can make scrolls for members of the envoys to use when they communicate with the armies."

Martine says: "It would seem a waste of your time and energy to make scrolls as you will be one of my team. Unless you feel it prudent for master Asinjin to have one as well?"

Parker's jaw stops working and just hangs there a bit.  ".....of course......." Parker walks over to where Asinjin is and joins him.
