Asinjin says to his friends, not the others gathered, "I think we should go out and search the area.  I doubt we find anything, but it may save these men if we do."

No offense to this Ascalos Thermos Bearer if Stasis's Cup and Wearer of his Frilly Undergarments, but we have slightly bigger fish to fry.  Namely, recovering the one item necessary to open up His Shineyness's uber-vault.  And the key's bearer too, of course.  And I'd wager that when we find the it and its bearer, we'll find our wayward paladin.

We know where to look for the item and person we were asked to seek.  We get in, get it, get out, and then help in the search of Eskimos Thermos.

Asinjin chuckles...which then causes him to cough.

Parker doesn't know Ajax from a hole in the wall.  By Parkers way of thinking, he has a chance to go down in history as the person who "made a King" by recovering Battle and opening the Vault.  Now, some paladin, who Parker may or may not have heard of, rolls into town whom others have dubbed "the Kingmaker" seems to be out to steal his thunder.  Parker, who doesn't think highly of goody-two-shoes types anyway, would, of course, mock him.   ;D

Robyn slaps you on the back of the head, hard, at the "his shinyness" comment, gesturing to the wounded cleric and the fact that you are in a temple.

Parker assumes that, with your current views of anything remotely touching on the Guardians and/or Russel and/or Chronomancy that Asinjin is one unannounced Guardian visit from an alignment change  LOL

By the end of the night tomorrow: a list of stuff you take and a decision on your next move.  No debate will be entertained in session. (Sutyrian whip crack)

A list of stuff, we need mundane mining and spelunking items.

Asinjin collects the following:

2 torches
3 flasks oil
1 wine skin
2 water skins
1 flint & steel
2 chalk
