Well done to all. Xp will be forthcoming. You can begin to explore the palace. Keep track of HP, spells etc.
-
Full hp here.
Haste has expired, as has Assay Resistance. Everything else active for at least another 12 minutes.

Ari is fully healed because he asked Solaris to heal him right before we went under the dispel screen. We never rolled any dice so I don't know how many spells it took me but that obviously doesn't matter now. Did Solaris have any sense he was leaving because if so I would like to have used an ability on Ari while I was healing him?

You did not have any forewarning but you could have used the ability
-
Parker has used all (2) of his 4th level spells and 3 of his 1st level spells. He uses 5 charges of the Cure Moderate Wounds Wand and is completely healed.
-
Asinjin asks Ari, "Was it you who summoned that Solaris? How did you do that?"
To the group, "Does anyone know if the Adapter's are evil?"

To the group, "Does anyone know if the Adapter's are evil?"
"I don't think so, otherwise the fake ones we have encountered would have registered with Ari's detection."
-
"It is possible they are just undetectable, but still evil."
-
To be fair Solaris likely wouldn't use that ability unless he knew he was leaving. The ability transfers my cha to my save to some other character for 24 hours. So I could give Ari a +8 to all his saves. However, is Solaris thinks he is staying then he would have kept them for himself and not transferred them to someone else.

In that case no, you would not used that ability.

Rubius has full HP and has exhausted all the charges in the Shatter Wand.

It was. Escalon provided me with an item that would summon aid when we would most need it. I'll really had no idea how to use it, what would happen, or who it would bring. Glad it worked out as it did; it was an honor fighting beside St Solaris.

Here is what Maglore told me: Adapters are doppelgangers from the Outlands. They are completely undetectable by any magic the Guardians yet found. Maglore thought that you, Asinjin, might be able to come up with a way of detecting them. They are mercenaries, literally as they live on gold. They can take any humanoid shape and can join together to take a larger form. Their mimicry is nearly perfect and in only an hour they can absorb all of a beings memories, skills and abilities, except those of divine nature as they are powers granted from without. In battle they become immune for a time to any form of attack that causes them harm. For very powerful ones, the ability is very general so that a slash with an admantium blade would render him impervious to all metal for a minute or more. They are outsiders and can be banished but they have no anatomy and are like constructs or undead in that regard to physical attacks but they do not have as broad a range of magical immunities.
That being said, they are from the Outlands, which is not an inherently evil plane; and as mercenaries, they most likely are not interested in the ethical consequences of their work.
-
"So our best guess is that they are not evil, but we are not certain."
-
I still owe XP but as you can't level I'll do that last.
Do you delay before heading up into the Castle proper? To cast spells etc.? If so for how long?
-
Parker reloads the Winder with Explosive Rounds and offers to take point as they head up
-
I will review my spells left, there will be a couple spells, but not many.
"How long do we figure before we get to any danger between from when we enter?"
-
Sorry to do this: I know Parker and Ari's level but I can't put my hand on Asinjin or Rubius'.
-
Rubius is 13th.
-
16th.
-
"How long do we figure before we get to any danger between from when we enter?"
"Assuming that we elude any guards between here and the council chambers, a few minutes at least. If Marius or any or his associates are around, likely a lot sooner."
"As for our Adapter problem, there is a spell used by less able Relic Hunters called 'Treasure Scent'. I am told, for I have never needed to use this spell myself, that one can detect the presence of nearby treasure, such as gems, platinum, gold, etc... If I understand you correctly Ari, and from my own observations of not-Thaddeus, these creatures are made of gold, or at least consume it for nourishment. This spell may allow us to detect them."
-
"Are they constructs?"

You've never heard of them before now. All you know is what Ari told you.
