Tarkin is conflicted.  Fey are evil, and Enf (Elf Nipit Fey) has confirmed this, he finds it funny that the weak of the forest, those that have been captured, or capitulated are being fed to the fey.  (he never delineates between evil and normal fey)  Thinking they got what they deserve for being weak.  Gnolls would never be caught alive, would never be weak, would never give in.  But.. Fey are evil and they need to be punished and need to learn their place in the forest.
Tarkin doesn't tell most of the others of the enf's fey-ness.  But he does take Smart Brother to the side and converse with him about it. And if we should trust the enf at all.

He doesn't think of any questions for the enf.  He'll leave the battle planning up to those back at camp. But his internal conflict causes him to pace angrily when in proximity of the enf.

ENF is great nickname.

The gnolls have only a short time to talk to Saladin.  He is in the first group Foost teleports back to Balinhost and once there, he is whisked away to talk to the leaders.

Foost teleports six at a time, although some of the small animals can go together.  That said, it takes him three days to get everyone as he will not spend the night out there with you.

Tox continues to recover, and he and Grozik are the last that Foost brings back because of their size.

You find that everyday you have to move farther south.  Your senses and animals report of activity nearing you, but not dangerously close.  Fearing what might be part of that pack, you do not engage.  Khraz is one of the first brought back to make sure he doesn't make any hasty decisions.

Back in Balinhost, even though Saladin is given most of the attention, the gnolls are asked a lot of questions about the fey they encountered.

They bring in several experts to talk to you.  First, two Fironi, and halfling, a human.  They ask lots of questions mainly focused on types of fey, how they looked and such.

When one of the Fironi leaves along with the halfling, the two that remain ask more pointed questions about weaknesses and strengths.

You learn that the fey are an extremely difficult enemy, so says the human named Vernon.  "They do not breed normally.  Each one might be resistant to different things.  You don't even know if you can kill it by drowning.". They laugh.  "One fey really had us going when we were water boarding it for hours before it finally couldn't keep the joke up and laughed at us.  It could breath water."

The Fironi cringes at the next part before it is said.  "It couldn't breath fire though."

Note that only the gnolls, specifically Ozzie and Tarkin.

Tarkin cackles as the torture is described.  "It seems both sides have dipped unsavory places to advance themselves in this war.  Gnolls live in those places " he cackles again " I can help you learn where to stick the fey where it hurts the most, their tricks and magics are troubling "

Sorcerous lineage can surface several generations after the initial cross breeding occurs. His elf-nipit parents may not have even known they possessed fey blood until their enf offspring came along. And unless this was some elaborate setup, the enf appears to be an enemy of Scalehome, and the enemy of my enemy is my packmate. I believe him.  For now. But trust must be earned. Keep a close eye out for trickery.

Saladien's answer to this would be no.
