For the most unique role playing heavy season ending battle in our history, each character gets 3200xp.

I was a bit off on the date, the arrest of Gnorton takes place on the 15th day of the 5th month. So Bonzai's birthday has to be changed.
-
Gneon already has the airship moving towards the site to try and investigate. His message is, get a good night's rest and get ready, unless you can travel that far that fast overnight.
-
Where does Marston put the cleric, the wizard, and the warrior after you arrest them?
You inform Klaus, the head sheriff of what has occurred. Since you were involved in the incident, he will take charge of the investigation. None of you are allowed to leave the city under penalty of being arrested.
Note those things happen before night falls and the news of the crusade reaches the city.
-
You can post any questions for The Gardener.

They are all placed in separate cells, preferably in separate prisons if we have them to spare. The cleric is sent to the most protected and heavily guarded one.

Crap...

There are three jails in the city, two of which are stone, the third of which is nearest New Grimhold and is a wooden structure.
Often, you would put very dangerous prisoners at a temple. In this case I assume the First Post, Temple of Falan is not an option. Klaus suggests that Gnorton be put in the shrine of Gruweas, which has room for one in a secure room.
Do you remove all of their equipment and belongings?
-
After being taken away, the wizard Jon is quiet during the process. He is burned, greased, beaten, and a mess.
The warrior, whose name is Tobin, goes away quietly but as he is basically unharmed, he walks easily and defiantly.
Gnorton the cleric rants the entire way and it takes all of the deputies to drag him. He makes quite the scene.
-
For a timeline of the day, the fights happened shortly after lunch, the word of the earthquake came shortly after midnight.
The intervening hours are filled with word making its way around the city of what happened. Luckily, as it occurred in New Grimhold, there were few witnesses, the not a lot know by the evening.
You are all forced to give statement and answer questions by Klaus before its time to go to bed. Klaus is a well known worshipers of Gruweas. When it comes time to talk to Artemus, Harrick, Finn and Sly; he has the cleric of Gruweas Harris present. There is no choice unless you want to be immediately arrested than to talk to the sheriff and answer some questions.
Note that all of his questions for now pertain to just the facts of what happened between Gnorton entering the Lame Duck and him being subdued.

The shrine of Gruweas will do nicely for Gnorton. The other two in the two most secure stone prisons.
And yes, I strip them of all their possessions including their holy symbols. They are being held on charges of assault on an officer, disturbing the peace, destruction of property, and a slew of other charges. Gnorton is being held on all those charges in addition to attempted murder, religious persecution, and defamation of character against Harrick. He is also now the primary suspect in a larger crime that compounds his religious persecution charges. It may sound unorthodox, but we have an eye witness in the form of The Gardener that can testify against Gnorton for creating undead and torturing a good soul. This act defiles the good nature of Falan's faith and contradicts what Gnorton is persecuting people for.

Just to be clear, the wizard was the one who initially attacked Harrick. I don't believe the cleric attacked anyone except the Gardener. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The wizard is also being charged with attempted murder. Gnorton attacked Harrick when he walked through the door when Harrick simply walked past him. He also gave the order to, and I quote, "kill the heretic." The charges stand.

To be fair.. I Fireballed, and Flame Coned the cleric while he was next to the Mage.. He was ordering the mage to "Kill the Heretic" so.. i thought it was self defense :)

You didn't attack first, so you're still the victim at this at this point. Don't talk yourself into being charged with anything. You don't want to be thrown in prison. They only offer you three square meals a day. You'd starve to death.

What in the nine hells did I miss?
You didn't miss that awesome strip poker game you where at while I was defending the honor of a 100 year old dead soul tasked by Falan to sow the earth with salt.

That is fine, I just wanted to clarify what happened before we get too far removed from the events. Marston has the authority to charge whoever with whatever, whether they get convicted is another story.
At this point, it hasn't even been 24 hours, so they don't have any chance of being released. The judge who would likely hear the case is Grimhold's chief justice, a gnome named Gnapperhap Slitazelt. The judges are appointed by the mayor. Marston knows that the chief justice is stern by gnome standards and is a follower of Gruweas.

What in the nine hells did I miss?
Harris and Tuco, along with some of Gneon builders, spent the time inspecting the ruins and are still there. In addition, Saren stayed out there with you because he senses a presence intermittently, and is concerned. Sly and Marston were out there with you for a few days, but when nothing happened, they returned to Grimhold.
At this point, you have not gotten a report from the city, but it is many miles from your location.
-
None of you are allowed to leave the city under penalty of being arrested.
Does that mean we are not permitted to go out to assist in the earthquake recovery efforts?
-

The order to not leave the city is given during the day after the fight. The news of the earthquake is right after midnight, you do not know if you will be given leave to go or not.

After being taken away, the wizard Jon is quiet during the process. He is burned, greased, beaten, and a mess.
Finn address the wizard, if he is permitted:
"Wow, that escalated fast, huh? And it looks like you took the brunt of it, too. Are you in need of healing? I could do that, if you'd be willing to receive it. 'Better to make friends of your enemies than enemies of your friends,' as my wife always says."

"I would gladly take your healing, thank you."

Jon gets a cure serious wounds...3d8+9 hp returned via Habastly's warm glowing warming glow.

You can post any questions for The Gardener.
What was your name in life?
How many summers have you been performing your duties?
Have you encountered anyone else during your work?
-

He says to Finn, not within earshot of anyone else, after the healing, "Do not trust the heretic or the undead. Look deep into their words before you are dragged into their evil."
-

He finally remembers, "Hamus Hefenfull."
"I lost track."
"There is no one else that does what I've been doing."

You can post any questions for The Gardener.
Was it Gnorton that killed you in combat before bringing you back as undead?
Has Gnorton done this to anyone else that you know of?
Have you had any contact with, or been able to communicate with, anyone else (living or dead) while you've been salting the land?
Before you were cut off from Falan, did you find out how long ago he created the illusion and why exactly?
Have you sensed the presence of other entities during your tenure as gardener? In particular, any entities capable of great power such as causing earthquakes.
Now that you've been in Harrick's care, have you been able to communicate with his new deity? If so, what has he told you?
-

"No, I think it was some type of undead that killed me."
-

"Not that I know."

"I don't recall anyone."
-

"I don't understand. I don't know why, it was when I started my task."
-
Have you sensed the presence of other entities during your tenure as gardener? In particular, any entities capable of great power such as causing earthquakes.
"Many times I sensed other things. Living and otherwise."
We are only going up to the point where you have just learned about the earthquake; so you have not gotten to question him about that information.
-
Now that you've been in Harrick's care, have you been able to communicate with his new deity? If so, what has he told you?
He does not answer. Rather just looks long and past you. If you press, you get no other information about it, the Gardener simply stares.
-

When he stares into the distance, does anything change on him physically? Am I able to sense him after asking him that question? My ability to sense him isn't dependent on whether he's good or evil, just corporeal, but I couldn't sense him earlier.

No changes. You are not able to sense him.
I should also note that Detect Magic does not reveal anything on him.

Not what I meant. Have you had interaction with any other creatures or people while you were performing your duties?

Did they truly end in death or was it undeath? Or was it something in between such as yourself?

He stops answering questions and seems distant, unaware of your presence and ignoring your questions.

By the time you question him, after dinner between the battle and the message about the earthquake; he has managed to put down the sickle and scythe. He is seated, which you have not seen him do yet. His appearance has not changed.

.. I nervously ask him.. " Do you need to rest? I KNOW.. I KNOW.. that doesn't make sense.. but.. it's been a long day for you."
