None of the clerics think she could have summoned that.
Can the assembled clergy speculate on what method was used to bring that thing here? I share the details of our encounter and its "death."

Vor'Ruk just mopes about a little wondering why those 20 silly little Halflings would attack someone thrice there height, and twice there width.

Blinks slowly at all the activity aroun me.. " do you guys have anything a cavalier of stasis could accomplish?"

Only the Grovetender has any insight.  "It must have come through a gate to the plane of water.  The fey would be capable of that."

Looks at the small stature of the locals, and shrugs.. " Sounds like a worthy challenge.  However, leaving the main group is dangerous with the treacherous Fey around"

Barney the Bigtoe says, "You could build some better defenses.  If those halfings and elves are in in meaningful numbers and do attack in force, it would help."

Lady Veronia announces that she will reincarnate Saladien the next day as the moon comes out, saying, "He will rise again anew, by Treetop's blessing!"

- What are you going to do with the elf you captured? (Send him on a "Quest" to locate Zat and report his position to us)
I was serious about this.  Haas, are you willing to do this?

Grant, as part of his sermons will help build fortifications for the town.  He will coordinate with Lady Veronia and the mayor about which trees he can give 'Bartlett's Blessing' to (Bartlett's Tree Break) to help create the fortifications.

The Grovetender is assigned to help you with that process.  In conjunction with that, they focus on finding and freeing builders and loggers that day.

Vor'ruk, using his extensive war knowledge, works on "point" defenses.  He understands that a traditional wall wouldn't be of significant value during a siege of the kind that is likely to come from the current enemy. And that wall would consume a large amount of our time and resources.   The Orcs and Gnolls work on fortified locations scattered about that can be used as shelter and fighting locations for the towns inhabitants and defenders.   Keeps, Reinforced buildings, and warehouses paying special attention to angled, thick, roof timbers.  Usually used to fend off catapult shot, would work well then they cowered sky giants show.  If possible, each has a location for the people to shelter in as well.
Rompie at the end of a day, if no attack has come, he'll use Animate Plants from the staff in coordination with the local clerics to move sentimental trees, or other plants that might be in danger to clear the way for defenses.

The report from the owls is that the enemy forces (halflings and kobalds) are stationed to the north and west of Owt.  Your base of operations is in the eastern section.

Valizar, not being a military tactician, suggests barbed wire and spiked points on the walls and fences in order to skewer cowardly Wugs who leap over obstructions.  He suggests this not so much for tactical reasons, but for the prospect of pre-made Wug-kabobs he can cook and eat after battle.

I will start on those sides of the city then.  but will spread out over the entire city as we cover areas.

You mean those directions but close to your base up operations?  Not on the edge of the city in those directions.
