Title: Agnollizing Captivity
Post by: Asinjin on November 24, 2017, 01:51:02 PM
For more than half a year, the gnolls are imprisoned.  If there is anything the surviving brothers want to discuss, do it here.

What happened to Cackle during our imprisonment?

Just so I am clear, that's your companion, right?

I believe Cackle was not captured with you.  If that is the case, you don't know what became of him.

I know he wasn't captured, but I forget who I sent him with.  No matter, I can't do anything about it from in prison anyway.

Have we heard from or seen the Stalker of the Dead since were placed in our cells?

You have seen him on occasion in the fort, but he has not approached you.

You are somewhat aware, from overhearing conversations, that the wugs are moving through the forest as part of the swamp worm (what the halflings are calling the river of swamp being created in the forest).

Note that you do not gain xp for down time when you spent that time in prison.

I find it hard to believe that the incarcerated brothers haven't started at least one prison riot in all this time...

You have, but you don't get xp for that.

Because we are uncertain whether we will be able to get both sessions in, I will start the story on the boards here.

Over the course of your time here, they have separated Tox from the rest of you because he is too large to fit reasonably in your cells.  They have taken the time to reinforce your cells and after you antics (I am sure their were antics), they have made the area more and more secure.

Kaklan, as before, is moved to some other location, likely the pit he was in once it is repaired.

If any of our captors get within biting distance, Ozzle takes a chunk out of them.

Also, is our confinement protected from blood magic?  If not, I will try to use every ounce of power at my disposal to burn these m-f'ers alive?

I put this and every other thing I assume you try in the many months into your antics noted earlier.  Suffice it to say that a number of halflings get hurt in that time by you.

The go through some notable length to keep themselves safe and you contained.  It eventually occurs to some of you that they are going through a lot of trouble.  But they never torture you, or muzzle you, or do any of the things that you gnolls would do.

They never threaten you with death or harm.  They do feed you food that you don't like, and sing happy halfling songs.  They magically have you washed and calm and silence the area magically when needed.

Every time I hear the wretched turn of happiness in my sensitive gnoll ears.. I Howl long and loud, trying to drive out that infuriating melody!

I'd be interested in the Hawk Eye Token.

A review of the last session: A Mognollithic Achievement thread on the boards, would be good reading for all.

I had forgotten that Tox and Razk were not captured and were supposed to have developed a plan while free.

You have not seen or heard from them in the many months of your captivity.

There will be posting xp for for the last several threads after the session.  Don't think it makes sense for anyone to get a level while in captivity.

"Brother, if I get my hands on one of these puny Halflings, I'll remove his head from his shoulders and give you the materials needed for a more respectable skull totem."

Someone figures out what you are using it for and it is removed.
