It has been a few hours since the battle ended, with your attempted escape and eventually trip to the island.

After thinking about the possessed ship, I believe the reason it was easy to get rid of was because you have the ship enchanted with a forbiddance of some such thing.  And all you had to do was 'turn it back on'?

When someone can get me a list of magic items that were on the ship that may have been removed, I will let you know if any are not there.

There are ten potions, in large waterskins.  I need ten rolls to see in any burst when dropped.  Claude's knowledge of alchemy lets every know that it takes a full round action to drink these because of the size.

Claude can roll checks to determine what they are.

When the dragon becomes clear for the first time, a feeling of dread comes over everyone not immune to such emotions inspired by a dragon.

Its presence near you causes an awe that exceeds and is different than the fear caused by other dragons.  Almost as if you are in the presence of a whole different type of entity.

Some of you, in different areas, have experienced something similar.  (Sas - Golden Mother, Rin - Traveler of the Seas)

The dragon has not spoken, but rather communicates telepathically.  It is able to project to everyone near at once, so you all 'hear' at the same time.

Its scales are darker red than Claude would expect and they are unevenly colored.  Its wings have patches of might lighter color as well, as if they had parts of leather sewn in at later times.  Its eyes are yellows with spots of orange that seem to not be what any creature would want in its eyes.

Unlike many of the other dragons you have seen, this one has a massive belly and body, its arms and legs not a nimble and almost stumpy.  Its wings are massive, each one nearly the size of the ship.  One beat of its wings could easily knock any of you to the ground.  Its breath, as it carries the ship, creates a sauna on the deck.

Now that we've retrieved the flags from the bag of holding, are we protected from dread and awe?

Assuming you put them on the ship (they have specific requirement to be active if I recall correctly), then yes to the fear but no to the awe.

Given the chance on the island.. Rin will talk to the animals there.  Wanting to see what it's like living there.
