As soon as the wind dies down I'll go out and search.
I'll help. We should scout the area anyway to make sure nothing else is out there.

During the three hours:

- Cloud prepares new spells
- Marcus heals

Does anyone else cast anything or prepare anything before we get to the time of the wind stopping?

Tchau can't do to Charisma damage and Alubrin is still out of commission.

...and Alubrin is still out of commission.
I approach Alubrin, pop the cork from the bottle of air, and hold it up to his mouth.  "Breathe this in, the fresh air may help you feel better."

It does make him feel better.  Not enough to cast spells at this point, but enough to speak easy.

We will pick up next week with the wind stopping.  Anything that is not done on the boards before that point does not get done.

No, Control Winds cannot be dismissed.
It can be turned down though instead of dismissing, right?

I'd rather not sit here for 2.5 hours waiting for everything in a 5 mile radius to come see what all the commotion is about.

if Cloud reduces the wind to a manageable level we can be out of here before anyone/thing else gets here.

We need to make camp far away from here and recover. How far were those islands?

The closest island is about a half mile off the coast.

You have to wait at least an hour because Cloud was preparing new spells.

Yes I lower it after roughly an hour when I am finished rememorizing my spells.

That's way too long. We wait an hour and something is bound to be waiting on the other side of that wind barrier. Something probably much worse than those 4-legged brains that just tore through us.

If I fly straight up from dead center of the eye of the storm, can I see anything outside the radius of the wind tunnel?  I'm looking for anyone or anything that may be heading in this direction.

You can't see anything below the canopy of the forest.

Fair enough.  Do I see anything approaching beyond the tree lines or descending from the sky?

Nothing descending from the sky.  There is no end to the tree line except the water on the three sides of the peninsula.

And what lies beyond the direction of the fourth side?  Is it forest as far as the eye can see or does it taper off into a wider body of land?

Forest as far as the eye can see, keeping in mind it is night time and that is not tens of miles even high up.  You don't see any signs of light peaking up from the trees indicating any towns or cities.
