So we have 7 of the 20 first round matches done and Season 20 is officially over.
We are getting everyone on the internet sites that allow us to do these matches online. So far: DM Derek, Hero, Valdis, Terrorshard, Zunder, and Windblade are ready to go.
By next Friday, after vacations for two of us, try to have your characters prepped for all matches. In our month of no sessions, we should be able to get through the first round at least.

I am around tonight if anyone else is available to get a match or two done.

So its been slow, but steady progress. My hope is to finish round 1 by the 3rd of November, when Master Po will be in town to play some duels.
When have 8 matches left to finish, three of those in progress.

Have you considered giving out xp for each win? Wouldn't have to be much, just a little something to entice.
Maybe 100 - 10*(Winner level - Loser level)?
Gives a bonus when the underdog comes out with the win, and a meager amount if the underdog is dominated by a much higher level opponent.

If you did that then it would need to be recorded and then all added after the tournament.

22 of a projected 80 some matches done...we're at 25% complete.

After a few quiet holiday weeks, it is time to get back at it.
We have the equivalent of 27 of 85 matches done, about 30%.

34 matches complete, 2 in their final round, 2 in their final duel, and 2 to go.

After a bottleneck, we can begin to proceed again, and although we are all saddened by the loss of Knot, his winning would have made the round 4 matches significantly slower.

53 matches complete, 17 competitors out of 40 left, 8 of 9 players left, about 33 matches left, round 3 officially complete.

The ball is rolling again. There are 57 matches complete.
A note that after round 4, we will be making some changes to the tournament rules. I have some ideas now, but changing mid-round would be unfair. Lets make the last few rounds even better. Good Luck.

Here are some of the changes to the tournament for round 5 and beyond:
- selecting many of the special other categories will now cost 2 choices instead of 1
- when selecting a setting, you may not pick a setting that is effectively the same (even if it is technically different)
- some prestige class specific changes which will be addressed with each player if needed
- some random scenario setting will become less common to reflect their rarity on Habololy

Including the two going on, we have about 20 left. As we near the end, there will be more of an emphasis placed on getting them done in person when possible.

On a side note, once we get down to the final 10, which will be round 6, all matches will be in person. There are currently 13 left, although Claude has to get through Haas to prevent his elimination and Rubius has an equally daunting task with either Ajax, Koth, or Asinjin.
I hope to have our usual one week-end day game day to finish the tournament this summer.
