Saren - for youth leadership - 1200

Gnevil - for tinkering banter and the cleverest clicker yet - 1850

Artemus - for attacking with a holy super soaker - 1850

Marston - for stalwart survival of a draining - 1850

Bandrig - for maintaining your avoid unnecessary confrontation stance - 1850

I would also like to note that the last time you five players were the group, it was September 2006.

The last time it was the five of you and Luigi, March of that year.

You arrive in front of a building, which both Clement and Gram have referred to as the University.  It is a sunny warm day.

It is an impressive building, with soaring towers and stained glass.  It is clearly a building that is hundreds of years old.  It is made entirely of stone and is large.

The teleportation was a bit disorienting for those that have never done it before, but a pleasant feeling comes over you shortly after to make you feel better.

Marston, Artemus, and Gnevil, who have all been to at least one large plateauian city are impressed, but not in awe of the city they have just appeared in, at least what they can see down the streets in front of the temple.

Clement says, "If we can move quickly inside.  The city of Mydir is one of the safest in the world.  I have no doubt we are safe from harm here, but we are not safe from prying eyes of enemies that could report strangers."

Gram does mention to everyone, "Drinking and smoking are prohibited in Pacyr.  And in the temple, smoking is still prohibited.  Don't even bother bringing any from the plateau."

On a side note, you were not the only people on watch at one time in Grimhold.  There were others, but it was times so that you were on opposites sides of the town as you walked.

I thought it was just illegal to sell alcohol not to drink it?

Gram looks at you, "Really?" Then he looks at Clement.

Clement says, "Your are allowed to drink it, not sell it, and there are some other laws regarding alcohol which I have not paid much attention to."

Bandrig asks to speak with Clement about repainting or modifying his cart to match one that Bandrig regularly uses and about the possibility of having a regular merchant drive it across the border.

Clement says, "What cart of mine do you mean?  If you are asking for us to arrange a fake you to make it appear that you are doing your normal business, than Gram could arrange that."

While back in Grimhold I ask Artemus: "We need to figure out what tools we should bring before we leave. Should travel light, I suppose, but I know that whatever we leave behind I'm going to wish I had.  Perhaps Graham can provide some magical means of storage for our equipment? Could be worth asking."

From what I have been told of the original raid, a cart that was protected from divination was used and is still in your inventory.

Clement says, "Yes, that cart.  You can use that."

Once you are settled, Clement also tells all of you, "As a group you need to decide something.  I can make available to you rings that will conceal you from detection.  You should know, however, that such devices are grounds for questioning in Hertoplowis."

Once you get inside, they show you the letter that was sent to them by the cleric Joseph in Hertoplowis.  It reads:

I have found the location where they are holding Emmerick.  He was taken into custody first at the constables’ prison.  It would have been easier to get him from there, but I didn’t know in time to tell you.  They have so many procedures and regulations here, its Grean.  He was moved after two weeks, I think he had been roughed up some.  I followed, but they eventually used magic I couldn’t keep up with to get where they were going.  It took lots of coin, but I found his new prison.  It is a place called Yorbone, a holy site for the Eternal.  It is a small fortress.  It is in north central Hertoplowis.  Follow the dead and you will find it.  Don’t contact me via magic.  The Regulators and Judges are closing in on me.  If I am near when you arrive, I will come with you, otherwise, after a month; I’ll make my way back home.  Good Luck.

Joseph

Gram says, "If you can think of anything you would like to ask our captive, the cleric Torrence, about Hertoplowis, let us know and we will ask him.  He has not revealed much so far.  One thing he led us to was that he was working with a cleric of Everentual named Hendle, a judge."

I agree that we should travel light but we also must make sure we have enough supplies to keep our clickers working.  I think we will need a several repair kits,  maybe some black powder,  bullets for the epbuls,  maybe a multi-tool... (Artemus goes on for a few minutes naming items) ...  Hmmmm.  Maybe a tinker can't not travel lightly.
