Nice
The end of an Era has come. Magic is broken. New Heroes are needed to face the challenges of the new Age!

At that point, he pauses, "You want the 'ole pig on short notice, that'll be five gold."I hand him 3 more to complete the sale.
"The 'ole pig is a bit more 'an that. But a round for everyone we can do." He takes the coin.I hand him another gold piece. "Will that cover the ole pig?"
The other halfling, older, taller, wearing a fancy ring and dressed in nicer but not fancy clothes. Is the signet on the fancy ring purple by any chance?
He looks at you and cocks an eye, "Religious pilgrims? You don't have enough coin for the 'ol pig. Two coppers for a plate.""We'd be happy to pay for the special." He asked for 2 copper, so I slide him a silver (5 copper, right?). "I hope this will do. If you have any pecan, candied walnut, or peanut butter mud pies, we'd like one of those too please." On second thought, I take the silver back and slide him a gold piece. "As a matter of fact, I'd like to buy a round for the house." Hopefully some of the strange looks on the patrons faces will turn to a smile after a drink.
No listed prices for anything or a specials boardI smile at the older Halfling and ask: "Hello good sir; what does the ole pig special normally go for at your fine establishment? We most certainly wouldn't want to insult you with our offer. As you can see, we're not from around these parts. We are but a humble menagerie on a religious pilgrimage."
The waiter is completely occupied by Akrah, neither notices nor hears you.Is there a menu posted or a "specials board" where the ole pig is listed? If so, I whisper into Akrah's ear the listed cost so that she can make a fair offer to the chef. I'm literate in Halfling.
When he returns, there is another halfing with him. The crowd has started to talk at this point but many still looking over at you from time to time.
The other halfling, older, taller, wearing a fancy ring and dressed in nicer but not fancy clothes.
"You want to 'ole pig special? On short notice? We can do 'at, but it will be a cost 'cause magic needed for short notice. How much do ye want ta pay?"
Yoshi is inside, having just paid the coin chest when he gets this message.
He starts yelling for help."Please calm down Crum; we're not going to hurt you. Simply tell us who sent you and why you're following us and we'll let you go." As a token of good faith, I hand him a mug of meade. If he's unable to grip it due to being held or grappled by Akrah, I ask one of my taller companions to offer him a sip.
Chase is in no state of mind to worry about such things.
