The date when you get back to Port Talp is the 7th day of the 11th month of 786.
The season was a week shy of three months of game time.
Let's get done the divvying of the loot now, rather than before next season.
Assume that you have at least six months in game time before the next season would start for the purposes of any plans your characters want to make.

The drow known as boomerang had on him:
- 2 potions of healing (2d8+5)
- 1 potion of invisibility (caster level 5)
- Boomerang +2 (Stunning attack 3/day)
- Short sword +2
- 20 gold coins
- a Night suit (non-magical, worth 15 gc)
- Ring of Jumping
- Cloak of Elvenkind
- 4 master work daggers
- short bow and 20 arrows
-
The battle in the field is never reported in any paper.
-
Esme tells you of Remy's disappearance after hearing it through her 'pool boy' Philipe.
He was doing his job for several weeks, then poof, he was gone. No evidence was found.
Your best efforts fail to locate him anywhere in the city.
-
It is three weeks after the fight that you learn of Forza's arrest. What you learn after is through Esme.
Forza was arrested by the clerics of Tfop and the constables (because technically the clerics can't arrest someone). He was magically found to have killed a defenseless resident of Port Talp. Esme does not have the details of the trial, nor does she know the details of legality in this arena.
What she does know is that powerful magic was used to determine his guilt, as there were no witnesses called. She also knows that he is sent away for two years, which she assumes means that he was convicted of some form of manslaughter not murder.
"But who knows, the clerics of Tfop don't follow the rules. They could have just made it all up."

Vincent buries his owl in the "shallow grave" nearby and doesn't let Natsu animate it.

Assuming Istvaan is keeping the boomerang, are we able to dispose of the rest of the drow's items before Forza is "charged"?

Eh.. I don't know if I want the Boomerang.. I don't have a feat open for awhile to use it.
When i said " i'm the new Boomerang" i meant that I was the new bounty hunter
I'm more interested in the Ring, Cloak, Sword, etc.
But whatever..

Exotic Weapon Proficiency can be a learned feat...

Is Forza's arrest or conviction ever reported in the news?

No.

Let us not forget the ground rules we set at our first meeting. We sell everything. That way, funds are distributed evenly and we do not hold on to items that can be tracked back to us. That was Gnax's first good idea, I believe. That brings his total for the past 3 months to 2.
-
Standard ring of jumping (+5) or improved (+10)?
Any user restrictions for anything?
My estimate of market value assuming no usage restrictions:
8,000 for the sword
18,000 for the boomerang (figured stun adds +1)
2,500 for the ring+5
2,500 for the cloak
Total magic item take = 31,000 gc.
Much better than previous efforts.

Cloak - elf only
Ring - +10 - Rogue only

I don't think Stunning is +1. It's in the MIC.

Thanks! Hey . . .

With all the controversy over Boomerang's death. Ayva doesn't want to keep his items to long. I will only try to get 80% of market value.
-
Ayva can roll a check for each item (Merchant or whatever). Are you going for speed or best price?
-
The non-magical items (since they are used) sell in under two weeks for 60% of their new value.
-
I am just trying to get 80%. So as soon as the guild agrees to that then I will start selling.

Is 60% the most I can get for them since they are used?
-
Unless you want to sit on them a long time. It is because they are used and there is no way to hide that.
-
That is fine. I tell the guild that 60% is the best I can get for the non magical items. So we can keep them or sell.
-
Once the items gets sold, please spend any coin you intend to spend in the next real game two weeks so we do not have to remember when we come back. That doesn't mean you have to spend it all, simply that time will be more efficiently spent if we knock it out now.
That does not mean you have to spend coin making potions, items, etc; now. However, if you want to buy a magic item, lets deal with that now.
Message or email me final level total regardless of whether you just got one. Hero, Malchia, Windblade, Whitesword....I have yours.
-
*cries* as you sell all the times.

*cries* as you well all the times.
I don't understand.

The Street Fishers are no more.
You never hear of Rik again.
You hear that the gnomish crafter, Norvam, turns to a life on the up and up, never moves to a different canton.
The gnomish tinker, Gnelson, lets it be known he is looking for new work, and you can consider letting him join. Esme asks everyone's opinion on the subject.
The gnomish spellcaster, known as Gonzo, resurfaces plying his trade in Five Streets.
Vit, Al, and Anton are all in prison.
Toby, Barth, and Jamie are around, still young and dumb; part of no organization as you can tell.
Remy is gone.
The remaining member is Larl, and he is unaccounted for.
-
In the coming months, Esme works on setting up some operations in the resort. She also introduces a few more guild lesser members.
-
Struggles to find a new favorite enemy.
*sigh*
didn't even get to attack him

Remember that I am also capable of enchanting weapons in addition to wondrous items.
And I also have a means to allow the user to provide the required sacrifice of life energy (xp) rather than me, so you can significantly reduce the purchase price to a little more than cost of materials (half of market price) plus a small fee for my time (150 gc/day of crafting time). And you can still always reduce cost by adding usage restrictions.
For instance, a +2 sword would normally cost 8,000 gc to enchant (base MW weapon not included). Using my one of a kind device (patent pending) to transfer the required 320 xp from the user to the item, I can craft it for you for the low-low price of 5,200, a 35% savings. That's 15% less than what I would normally charge if I was providing the xp.
Add a race or alignment restriction and we can get that down to 3700 gc.

You can assume you have plenty of time to complete all projects.

1 - how much do we get from the sale of the boom's items
2 - are we doing this here? now?
-
Ayva is still working on the exact total, but you can assume at minimum 60% of the listed values...divided by 13.
You don't have to post anything you want to make so that everyone knows. But if Gansuhk wants to craft stuff, now would be a better time as opposed to a year of real time when we will have forgotten the rules and rolls.

We have a year????
Currently taking orders from anyone in the guild.. except the pool boy..not potion of slipperyness for you!!!
Any spell 1-2 levels I can create in potion form.
-
Minimum six months of time.
-
The total take from the items is 24,500. Split as appropriate.
-
That's not divisible by 13.
Can we say the total is 24,505 so we each get 1885?
-
No, do some math and use silver and copper.
-
No, do some math and use silver and copper.
Or we'll just drop the remainder in the guild group fund.
Everyone gets 1884 gc.
Guild account gets 1892 gc.
-
Is the from the items above. IF so DM never gave Ayva a price for the items that she sold. I didn't want to hold on them for long because they are being looked for probably especially with the case going on. I planned to get rid of them quickly and sell for about 60%.
-
Windblade, to quicken the pace, I took the rolls you gave me and added up the prices. I assume you eventually figure out about the sword, which I will detail in an email.

With that in mind, if anyone wants to buy anything with their coin, please do so or order from Natsu.
I will write up an Epilogue in the next two weeks, and then after that I will not be visiting this forum until we decide to come back to the campaign next year or so.
-
Yeah, order from Natsu.

It occurred to me that the rogues are further in the future than any other campaign, so an extended epilogue is not in order.
You will go about your stated business and before we pick up we will fill in the blanks. Our likely Rogue return date...summer 2015. Just like a movie sequel, two years in between.

Anyone have any thoughts on nice to have general use guild items?
We do have some money in the house fund.
Could create an item for knock, silence, or detect secret doors.
