A listing of the items so that you can divvy them out:

- gloves of missile snaring (fey only)
- Spear +2
- Cloak of Protection +4
- Halberd +3
- Ring of Fire Extinguishing
- potion of neutralize poison
- Ring of Protection +2
- 2 magic swords +2

I believe there may have been something else as well

If you can provide a list of skins, blood, and other things that you want Foost to sell, that would be good.

"I have the ability to Teleport, so I will take the items to a city outside the forest and sell them.  If there are things you would like me to buy, I will try and get them."

At one point, Scratch will ask the Gnome to tell him what his coin, bracers, and necklace do.  Partly to see if he is telling the truth, because he knows some of them, and partly to see if there is anything he doesn't know about them.

He correctly identifies what they do, with the exception of the coin, to which he says, "I can't define what this does."

A note, possibly more for myself, the arrows are not fey slaying arrows (magically), they are arrows dipped in fey killing poison.  The Killoreen would have missed his Fort save as well as having missed the Will save (poison is Fort, Slaying is Will), so it doesn't matter for that.

Descriptively, he does not turn ashen and his soul does not coldly leave his body.  It is a more terrible, blood spurting our of mouth poisoned death.

Foost tells you, it will take five days to reach the gnoll pack.

Ozzle had asked what the bow does of Foost, he says, "It is moderately enchanted, and arrows fired from it cannot be easily healed."

Its +2 and hits from it cannot be naturally healed.

How long lost book gnome following brothers?

"Since you left the estate.  I was watching the battle and noticed your group arrive.  After that, I spent some time figuring out who you were and why they were concerned with eight gnolls that barely survived making it into the castle.  I did not know you were following a fake, else I would have let you know."

Tarkin asks, pointing at his two unicorn horn arrows.  Can you enchant these, make them return?  Make them better?.  Or else an enchanted gnoll bow, or arrows would do.

He hands over two full water skins of unicorn blood, two full hides of unicorn skin.  Eight hooves. Two Unicom testicles.

Foost says, "I think we could sell all of those unicorn parts for 300 gold coins, less the horns.  If you can craft arrow heads from the horns, we can get them enchanted."

I can craft the arrow heads.  Might take me awhile, but I want to get them right.

You have time to do that.

Note that if you have anything to divide or purchase or comment on here, we will use the gnolls as a fall back for the summer season if something goes wrong with the rescue.

What do the gloves of missile snaring do?

Ozzle will take either the gloves or the spear depending on what the gloves do.

The gloves allow you to automatically catch two normal missiles per day.  If it is a thrown weapon, you may throw it back as a free action.  Your attack roll and rules for thrown weapons apply, not the original throwers.  Normal missiles mean no bullets or siege weapons or spell rays.  You could catch items throw by a spell but that are not magical energy.  Arrows and bolts are caught, but cannot be thrown back.  You must be aware of the attack, even if you are not facing the attacker.  You must be under no condition that prevents movement (slow, hold, paralysis, etc).

If it doesn't stop ray attacks, it's of no use to Ozzle.  He will take the spear.  Does that do anything, or just a straight +2?

Khraz would take one of the +2 swords.  He picked up a longsword somewhere as well that he would add back to the pile.(Not to be confused with his great sword)

Tox adds the girdle to the pile.

Tox want magic chainmail and magic shield.

In the intervening year, you have gotten magic chainmail +1 and a magic shield +1 in exchange for your girdle and whatever other item you pick from the lot.  They are only +1 because of your size.

During his travels, Foost finds you a magical collar in exchange for the long sword (I believe it was magical).  The collar enhances your bark, Foost says he thinks it was designed to make guard dogs scarier or at least heard from farther.  But for you, it adds a +1 DC to any save against your bardic abilities / spells that involve your voice.

Razk claims the Halberd.  Foost could you potentially trade this item for something more suitable?

Things on Razk's wishlist:

Subtlety enhancement on Claws
Rogue's Vest armor
Deadly Precision enhancement on Claws

That leaves the gloves for Grozik, who I assume will have Foost trade them for something else.  Foost will take the potion.

With that, this thread is closed.
