There were two potions, a short spear, short sword, and leather armor found to be magical on the quickling.  Who is holding these items?

Recap:

The brothers that remain conscious lick their wounds and build a litter for their unconscious brethren.  Tox heaves almost as big brother and balls of fire brother onto the litter and they proceed to drag on ahead to search for sparkly face traitor.  While scouting ahead, Tarkin encounters a strangely armored giant dog man.  The pack animals stop and engage in conversation with it.  Having not attacked, Tarkin steadies his hand and tries to converse with it.  The rest of the brothers catch up and then a hulking, heavily armored Orc arrives decorated with holy symbols of Stasis.  The Orc, speaking common, questions the brothers about their intentions.  Tox decides to tell him about the hunt for the sparkly-faced-traitor-winged-lizard-man.  Confused and disturbed, the Orc requests help and an invisible creature reveals itself.  A glowing, shimmering, winged, elf-like creature materializes and greets the group.  Together the celestial motley crew decides that, because we're being honest about our mission, they will let the brothers know what they're up to.  They mention that they're hunting a Halfling vampire and they lost the trail.  the group agrees to help the brothers find sparkly face if they help track the vampire.  They bestow healing and restoration upon the group as a show of good faith.  Runty brother musters his blood magic to point them in the right direction then collapses.  Glowy elf lady then conjures a golden mansion with healing powers so the brothers can rest.  They gladly do so and further recover a bit from their weaknesses.

After they rest, the group of undead hunters return to let the brothers know they destroyed the vampire.  They live up to their end of the bargain and help transport everyone a few miles ahead of sparkly face in order to ambush him.  Glowy elf lady uses god-magic to make the brothers fly and summons a gust of wind to speed them on their way.  This is followed by 60 miles of projectile vomiting, sobbing, and a violent temper tantrum by always angry brother.  Once the brothers set back down to land, they ready for an assault.  The rangers among the group decide they can use the continuous line of vomit as a marker back to the Fellos Estate.

Tox then asks glowy elf lady if she would stay to help.  Like the respectable Gnoll warrior he is, he offers her a share in his war trophies as fair trade for her services.  He suggests a unicorn horn and some flayed skin as payment for services rendered.  Golden-glowy-elf-lady suddenly turns a pale white, wells up with tears, and questions her own morality for helping the brothers.  She is mortified by the bloodied remains of one of the purest creatures to grace Habololy.  Tox offers a friendly reminder that it was, in fact, two of the mean angry horned horses that were slain.  He smiles proudly, wipes the blood and bodily fluid from the horn, and presents it to her.  She vomits, begins to shriek, and flies off into the early morning sky.  Tox shrugs, assuming glowy elf lady was overwhelmed with joy and merely going back to report her potential score to giant Orc man and dog wonder.

After a brief wait, they spot sparkly face.  Sometimes sneaky, always smart brother casts the proverbial first stone in the form of a web-laced magic missile.  Sparkly face gets stuck and turns invisible.  The other brothers converge on the square where sparkly face was last seen and attack.  They are surprisingly successful.  Blind brother manages to pin the invisible traitor.  Once caught, sparkly face reveals himself as a Quickling.  He and Tox begin to question him but don't get answers they want to hear.  Sparkly face says that the real sparkly face is still at the estate.  Confused and fed up, Tox crushes his skull with his bare hands.  The eruption echoes throughout the forest.  They loot the body, skin the Fey, and gather his belongings.  Sometimes sneaky, always smart brother uses magic to determine some of the properties of the items found.  It becomes clear at this point that the blanket used to track sparkly face is laced with divination.  The brothers agree to pin the blanket to a wild animal in case the real sparkly face is watching.  They start hurriedly moving back towards the estate.

After making some progress, the brothers decide to make camp.  They are beset upon by a giant were-bear.  Tox confronts the creature head on and questions how it knew the brothers were there.  It claims "the forest told them" and that "they just knew."  The brothers wake up and engage in combat.  Again, the fight goes well for the brothers at first until two more were-bears charge into the melee.  Tox, with all the dignity of a seasoned Gnoll fighter, straitens up and warns the bears that if they don't stop, that he'll be forced to thrash them.  They laugh and roar.  Fortunately, this provides ample time for Tox to grapple the first bear who invaded the camp.  Blind brother joins in and together they pin it.  Tox gently reminds the bear that if it doesn't spot, the brother will be forced to slit its throat.  The other brothers continue to battle the other two bears when sneaky runty brother creeps up on the pinned bear and provides the belligerent creature with a beautiful Colombian necktie that even the Hororian mafia would appreciate.  The creature dies instantly.  Tox stares down the remaining two bears, smiles, and says "see?"  One of the bears flees in terror and the other is held in place with fear.  The brothers proceed to force feed it the blanket and send it on its way.  The brothers successfully kill two birds with one stone: diffuse the threat of the were-bears and find a new "host" for the blanket parasite.

Tox think balls of fire brother possessed, him not talk that good most times.

Stasis Orc and he-she feathered elf made sure always angry brother is not actually undead brother.

Also, Tox hates democrazy.

Shame the werebears took the one we killed. It's pelt would have made a fine pair of boots.

Do you find another camp site after the werebear attack, or start the journey back immediately?
