Facing has returned as an optional rule in the DMG, and I plan on incorporating it.

After reading the new DMG, I am going to try out to rolling changes from our current combat format.

I am going to roll initiatives and keep the order private.  With the new initiative rules for adjusting initiative base on what you are doing, this will add a layer of uncertainty and challenge.

To compensate, I am going to let you roll your attacks.  When you give me your result, always give me the modified roll.  The results of attack roll should always be faster in 5th edition, as there are fewer possible modifiers and they are typically lower.

I will roll damage.
