Can we get an assessment of the enemy we face in Portet?  Asinjin, upon waking needs to prepare the correct spells.  He looks the worse for wear and walks gingerly, coughing occasionally.

That’s probably the most important thing that could be decided on the boards. Send recon, attempt communication or go as a group.

Any spells we use on Recon take away from our ability to fight the enemy.

Has the king gotten any reports overnight?  Who is in charge of the defense?

I proposed a recon strategy in a previous post. Can I get a teleport outside of Portet?

If Rubius can move at 4x speed while in gaseous form, then I can go and conduct recon.  Theoretically, I shouldn't get tired in that state.  I'm stealthy, small, resourceful, and completely invisible when I need to be.

If you mean the defenses of Degalas, Oliver has taken command of the army and the city guard. He is the most experienced commander present.

Michael tells you: “I received a Sending from the high cleric of Stasis in Portet seeking immediate aid. At about the same time the high cleric of Gnarion in Messada received a sending from Cassius Wokal, a powerful cleric of Gnarion and leader of the Guardians, that the sect was sending all available warriors to Portet. We were on our way there when Parker and Lord Vanyar arrived from Mount Celestia. There has been no other word.”

We would still have to teleport you there.

You wouldn’t be able to make it on one spell. It’s well over 1000 miles.

Could I make it in one trip then have Gales come get me in the morning?

- Elation (8 rounds) (+5 feet, +2 Str and Dex)
- Lion's Roar Aid (12 minutes) (+20hp)
- Mind Blank (all day)
- Telepathic Bond (not active because of Mind Blank, but still there) (120 minutes)
- Enlarge (17 minutes) (+2 Str, -2 Dex, -1 AC, -1 attack, Reach 10ft)
- Tensor's Transformation (to be cast this round) (+4 Str, Con, Dex, nat AC, +5 Fort)
- Starmantle (17 minutes)
- Elemental Body - Air (all day) (others -1 hit and damage while in air) (immune to lots)
- Magic Circle Against Evil (140 minutes) (+2 AC and saves)
- See Invisibility (150 minutes)
- Indominibility (15 minutes)
- Celestial Aspect - Wings of Fire (14 minutes)
- Luminous Armor (17 hours) (+5 AC, -4 to hit)

Don't forget to increase the damage of the Dire Pick to account for your new size.   :D

The horde of undead blocking the way sounds like an excellent opportunity for the Trampling Mammoths of Benlin...

- Freedom of Movement
- Elation
- Improved Indivisibility
- Mage Armor
- Blindsight
- Improvisation
- Resist Energy (Cold)
- Lion's Roar aid
- Haste
- Int Telepathic Bond
- Greater Anticipate Teleport
- Fortunate Fate
- Spell Resistance
- Divine Power
- Celestial Aspect (wings of fire)

Note that all of these were cast on the way up in order that makes the most sense for duration.
