Session recap posting xp available.
After meeting with the officers in the Destroytian Republic, we were set to drop off the belligerent pirates and bring the rest to Talp.  The crew decided not to bother and go straight to Talp after discovering that we were being followed by a group of elementals.  We made pretty good progress, but when we were a couple days away from Talp, we were surrounded by our previous assailants and the Guardian stopped to a screeching halt.

The mysterious voice again demanded our surrender and that we give up Claude and the Guardian.  Sas used his diplomatic skills to buy us some time to buff ourselves, then they attacked.  We were blasted with water and ice and surrounded on all sides of the ship.

After a short while, one of the creatures appeared near the front of the boat where the revealing lanterns is located and we were all able to see a blue scaled dragon.  The officers sprung into action and attacked what they saw.  Shortly after, it became apparent that the ship was filling with water again through the cannon holes.  The rest of the crew and pirates began bailing water and sealing the holes while remaining below deck.

After some reconnaissance, we discovered two enormous elementals holding us in place.  It also became clear that there was a slew of additional creatures surrounding us in the air and water.  After some serious damage, the blue dragon moved to another side of the boat, but another barrage of melee and magic soon revealed a genie behind what appeared to be an alternate form of a dragon.  Very Wizard of Oz style like the man behind the curtain.  Eventually, it dissipated into a pool of water and splashed into the ocean.  We don't know if we killed it or if it just retreated to heal.

After that, dozens of genie's revealed themselves, although most stayed in the water.  Some drug Camille and Sas into the water, others attacked us with anti-magic rays and melee weapons.  One of our crew is skilled in ship to ship unarmed combat and was able to wrestle one of the genies onto the deck.  From that point, Valdis, Midiyiro, and Ritvali flanked and attacked it to near death.  It fled at one point, but that group pulled it back for additional beat down.  Not sure if it lived or not.

Meanwhile, the rest of the crew was engaged in all sorts of combat.  Chase was attempting to dispel and disorient them, but soon took to healing as he and Rin took a beating.

Nathan turned into a roid rage bear with all the trimmings.  He managed an epic attack on one of them, but was soon reduced to a mere bear cub when he was hit with another anti-magic ray.

Kasai blasted genies with lesser fire orbs, but was targeted after that and quickly reduced to minimal HP.  The Captain ordered him below deck.

Sas used his spirit powers to limited avail and the rest of the crew fought, scouted, bailed water, or hid.  We were all eventually hit with a mighty Cone of Cold that nearly killed Thermon.

Rin enlarged Tsu and they fought in the water to blast genies with arrows, bite attacks, and a mighty arrow storm spell.

Eventually, Camille was able to turn into a dolphin and escape the elemental whirlpool she was caught in.  She then returned to the ship.  Once there, she was able to dismiss one of the elementals.  With one remaining, it wasn't able to hold the ship between the force of the everfull sails and the barrage of attacks it was receiving.  We managed to sail onward without any further disruption.  Fortunately, the Guardian was completely undamaged thanks to its many fortifications.

We sailed full speed ahead for the remaining day or two and got to Talp safely.  The Floating Isle was nowhere to be found, but at least we're safe.
We're now in the process of determining pay and shore leave.

Nathan also makes sure to let Chase know that we would like to have him back on and appreciates his service.
Chase appreciates the gesture.

Great recap.  However, Nathan does want to take some credit for doing approximately 150 points of damage to the blue dragon creature as it dissipated directly after my charge.  Then he was reduce to a "bear cub" by the purple beam.  Even though it was an illusion.

After that, dozens of genie's revealed themselves, although most stayed in the water.  Some drug Camille and Sas into the water,...

Eventually, Camille was able to turn into a dolphin and escape the elemental whirlpool she was caught in...
Since we’re making corrections for the record, Ssaskra heroically dove into the water to rescue Camille, and used his mysterious shamanic powers to extract her from the whirlpool with no regard for his own personal safety.

The three Fey you took on do not need pay, they are happy with safe room and board.

We also need to play Claude and I can remember how we decided to pay Chase.

I think our plan was to subtract the crew payment so how much it cost to pay the crew for the 29 days.  Then we divided the remaining in 1/2.  The first 1/2 gets divided among the owners 30% each for Nathan and Rin and then 13% each for Claude, Sas, and Valdis.  Then we take the remaining and divide it by the number of shares in the crew which includes the owners getting a share since they are also crew.

Let's add everything and sell it.  I think we need to take the pearl necklaces and sell it too because that is one of the most high priced items and we can't afford to just give it to Thermon unless we keep it as a ship item and give it to him on loan.

One thing I forgot to mention.  Was I able to recover the block of ice created by the freezing gem before going to Talp?  I mentioned I wanted Tsu to flip it up on deck so I could recover the gem, but I don't recall if we did that before sailing off.

Once at port, your Purser, Braden Lewis-Kormier does his job and gets values for the items.
  • Knockout gas canisters for cannon - 300gc
  • Necklace of Pearl Armor - +6 AC (armor bonus), force effect, no armor check penalty, no max dex limit, requires heavy armor proficiency, resizes to fit wearer <Thermon> - 28,000gc
  • Cutlass with fist-shaped basket hilt - +1 on land/+2 on ship, auto bull rush on charge (+4 check, no AoO) - 7,500gc
  • Dagger+2 - 7,500gc<Kasai>
  • Crossbow+1 - 1,800gc
  • Crossbow bolts+1 (qty30) - 2,000gc
  • Wind Fan - generates wind to fill 1 sail, exhausts user - 4,000gc
  • Wand of Hold Person - 900gc
  • Wand of Cure Light Wounds - 150gc
  • Bracers of Shielding +3 (deflection) - 9,000gc
  • Ring of Sustenance <on loan to Parker> - 2500gc
  • Fishhook of Bountiful Bait <given to giants>
  • 6 potions <given to giants>
  • Scroll with 3 arcane spells - 800gc
  • Scroll with 4 arcane spells - 900gc
  • Dagger+1 - 1,800gc
  • Potion of healing - don't bother in Port Talp
  • Potion of cat’s grace - don't bother in Port Talp
  • Bottle of wind - 6 hrs of use remaining - 600gc
  • Ring of swimming - gain swim speed 30 - 12,000gc
  • Bracers of arrow protection - continuous Protection from Arrows effect (DR10/magic), no HP limit, normal missiles only <Tsarimoti> - 18,000gc
  • Bag of aquatic tricks - medium power, as Bag of Tricks but aquatic creatures only - 1,500gc

Looks like a total of just under 100,000gc.  These prices are what the Purses thinks you can get for the items.  You may be able to haggle them a bit.  He does this for the rest of the voyage home and one full day at port.

So how much does the non-share crew make in a month.  We take that out of the 100k and then start dividing it.

If my count is correct, and there are 14 owner or share paid crew, then I believe it's 1,800gc for a month.
