Which Ship
« on: October 12, 2015, 07:16:08 PM »
The lead up to the next adventure begins with the question of what ship do you want.  This can be a player and character decision.  The options are a smaller scout ship or a larger ship.  The smaller ship has the advantage of being more under character control, as there are fewer crew members.  The larger ship will in theory see more ship to ship combat.  The campaign will be significantly different depending on the choice you make.  You have until Friday to discuss before I make the choice.

This is for Zunder, Valdis, Malchia, and Master Po

It will be two and a half in game years since we left the seas.

For returning characters: Rin and Valdis so far, multiply 300 x level for experience gained since.  Age characters accordingly.

Rin would steer towards the ship more likely to allow her to run into Whalers.  Probably the smaller option as Whalers would avoid ship to ship combat.

Valdis would succumb to pier pressure and, moor often than knot, follow those he considers friends on whichever boat they choose

That string was so heavy with puns that it almost capsized the ship.

23 ships sail into Port Talp for the gathering of the corsairs.

Included among them are the ships that some of you remember and have crewed in the past.

The Vigilant Seas
Lady Sureshot
The Iridescent Angel
The Beast's Hammer

The best known of the ships is still the Vigilant Seas.

At Port Talp, there is a recruitment day when all of the ships have their openings posted.  Thousands of people walk the docks looking at the ships.  That is the day on which we will start.
