An Ambush that Didn't Work
« on: November 14, 2014, 08:54:33 AM »
Picking up where we left off last night.

Here are some spells in effect:

- Elation on everyone except Ari
- Greater Status on Ari, Benlin, Astrek, Shaar, Robin, Rubius, Tomas, Parker, Elephant, Fat Man, Elf Lady, 4 archons
- Mass Aid on Benlin, Astrek, Shaar, Robin, Rubius, Tomas, Parker, Elephant, Fat Man, Elf Lady, 5 archons
- Good Hope on everyone except Ari
- Invisibility Purge around Kerkly
- Blindsight on Benlin and Shaar
- Celestial Aspect on Shaar
- Overland Flight on Benlin
- Greater Luminous Armor on Benlin
- 8 Aids on Robin
- 8 Aids on Lady Elf
- 8 Aids on Shaar
- See Invisibility on Benlin
- Displacement on Benlin

Benlin dismisses the Ball Lightning as he flies away.

The summon I cast could not have gotten the Hound Archon, a celestial lion is there instead.

Kerkly pings himself with the Protection Domain charm after the others leave.

Kerkly uses the Detect Magic to collect all the items from the fallen foes.

Is the one killed by the Ball Lightning still there, or was his body and the odd skin get destroyed?
The hand that rolls the Dice rules the world.

You said summon four?
The body of the one finished off by the ball lightning is still there.

It is meant to be an "I" not a 1.

So...  The Summon IV I cast...

I pull out the coin of Celestial Radiance and see if it reacts to that.

Sorry, Celestial Brilliance.  I want to see if the skin that doesn't come off is damaged or recoils from the divine light.

It does not react in anyway, including changing color to match the now illuminated stone.

Reminder: we are hoping to finish this so we have a clean start for the constables and the final two high level sessions

Is there any purple ooze either on or inside of the skin?
