Scratch addresses the group.  "We should not waste any time.  The sooner we find this Lantiva, the sooner we can hunt and fight fey with the pack.  Use the animals to track its scent and let us be on our way."

The dog, a medium length hair shepard type dog that weighs about 50 pounds, is named Katkh.  It picks a scent off the blanket in very little time.

They don't get any scent here, but you think if you head off to the eastern wall where they said he left from, you'll have better luck.  The large number of gnolls that just moved through is making it hard for the animals.

The gnolls don't have many, but Kerx is willing to give you two...Vatpik is gone by the time you think of it.

Tox stamps his feet impatiently. "Need some brothers to follow animals and some lead Tox and other brothers that not think like animals."

Tarkin scratches his head.. The bounds off, calling the animals.. having them start tracking after the eastern wall.  Avoiding Tox

Go to this link to find a 'map' of the forest so you have an idea of where things are.  Not to scale.
