In the hopes of getting the ball rolling again:  What did you want to do next?  Check out the warehouse?  Talk to the dock ward constables? (about?) Follow Crincos?  Checkout the other Wonderword Co. businesses?

Warehouse next.  Can we do a walk by and talk to local constables?

The warehouse sits a few blocks from the docks.  It has a number, 41, on the front but no name.  It has no windows except on the large sliding doors.  It looks little used.

What do you want to ask the constables?

Who has been seen using the warehouse recently?

Has the warehouse been involved in any crimes recently?

Are there guards or magical protections?

Stonehill and his partner have not heard anything about the warehouse.  There has been no crime of note there.  No break in or robbery.  They have been inside and it appears unremarkable.  The manager is a Horarian.

No and how would you find out?

I have one of my fellow constable cast detect magic as we walk by.  I also ask the constables if they have ever had any magical detections or divination cast on the warehouse.

They have not, nor do they have easy access to such magics.

How many times do you go by the warehouse?

Assuming you go on random days over the course of several weeks there is some magic active on some days and nights but there is no clear pattern

Hopefully I have not lost everyone's interest but as there has not been much activity in the last two weeks I will push ahead.

For 6 weeks you return to a more or less normal patrol routine.  There is no word from Cobus and no unusual activity at the warehouse.  Stonehill agrees to keep an eye on it but he reports nothing out of the ordinary.  He even takes the step of backtracking a few deliveries.  Most are wine and spirits imported by Crincos Ashstaff.  The workers seem a mix of Icefians, Horarians and Intorians.  According to Stonehill Ashstaff reached an agreement for the stevedores to bring goods to the warehouse, usually they just take them off the ship, an in exchange some of his employees are allowed to offload very expensive wine and spirits.

Near the end of Pramon a letter arrives.  It is written in the same script as the first you received a few months ago.  An'Kel has left Kathow aboard ship.  Its destination is presently unknown and there is no guarantee he will not change ships at sea.  He may attempt to enter the Kingdom through Cape Tolya or Camade and make his way overland to Phiam.  Look for my warning near the Day of Life.

It is unsigned.

What does the writing look like?

Is it in common?

Can we tell how long ago it was written?

Was it magically created?

Perhaps Vasili might be able to tell us something about the note or its author?

It is neat print.  Yes. No. Not that you can tell.
