How do spells that effect outsiders work on other planes? For instance, outsiders can bypass anti-life shell. If I cast that in the Beastlands, what happens?

Everything is reversed.  You are the outsider and they are the prime inhabitants.  Magic comes from the plane you are on, so it would effect them.
