The giant looks confused when Asinjin changes into the fiend, but when Vega makes his pronouncement, it gives a broken tooth grin and licks its lips.

“You wee gits are just some sort of misguided do-gooderz.  You ain’t got my kit and you ain’t no factoums of the Shackle King.  Leave me the halflings and a dwarf or two and go on your way.”

How far away is the giant?

Are the other humanoids with him in chains or do they appear to be working with him in some capacity?

Are they all within sight or are they hidden behind crates and boxes?

I use Bardic Knowledge on the name Ureblage. Bard Level (18) + INT (7) + Synergy (2) + 1d20 (14) = 41

DC   Type of Knowledge
10   Common, known by at least a substantial minority; common legends of the local population.
20   Uncommon but available, known by only a few people.
25   Obscure, known by few, hard to come by.
30   Extremely obscure, known by very few, possibly forgotten by most who once knew it, possibly known only by those who don't understand the significance of the knowledge.

The room is 100’ x 150’ and the giant is roughly 70’ from you.  The smaller “humans” are not in chains. They are all armed.

You are fairly sure you heard one of the loths call the Cornugan by that name.

Which one is Ureblage?

Is this asked out loud?

The tracks end in a turntable. The warehouse is mostly empty except for a few scattered broken crates. The freed slaves are dazed but coming around.

Before you can explore the warehouse a horribly misshapen giant and a large group of not-quite sure what race they are humanoids enter. The giant begins barking orders at you:

“Eh you worthless lot, get those crates off the carts and opened before . . .” “What in the seventh hell is this about? Where’s my kit? Where’s Ureblage or the Knight? Who are you lot?”

Maybe two minutes.  Greater Scrying, takes one round to cast, lasts hours.

You cast the spell as the freed slaves are being assembled. You find the Knight being healed near the prison.

I could scrye the Knight of Chains.

How long after the battle do you wait to scrye and how long does it last?

While Chase and Gnicodemos gather the rescued slaves together, what if anything do the rest of you do?

Just one correction to the recap- the Teifling slave is the favorite of the Shackle King.

Two would be sufficient to get all of them but it will take several minutes to gather them all together.

After Syionese dispatches the last of the ‘Loths, you are left with 180 slaves of various races. They are all in very poor health and you can only wonder what fate would have awaited them at the end of this journey.

The woman is in better health. She looks at peace while she is unconscious.

The key is nearly a foot long and weighs less than it should. It is made of a crystal that is grey tinted but clear.

Assuming you discuss for a few hours (feel free to continue with questions) and then get some sleep, before “Dawn”, the lead Lupinal takes Vega, Gnicodemos and Chase out to where the rail approaches the town. Just as the light returns you see a small flat rail car roll to a stop at the edge of the town. A Nycaloth takes a scroll from the car and flys to the mansion.

Parker will ask the Guardinals, "For those of us not accustomed to fighting 'Devils' and various 'Loths', what are some of their weaknesses we can try to exploit?"

Yugoloth are resistant to most forms of energy and immune to acid. If under command of a Piscoloth or Nycaloth, they will be very disciplined. If you kill their leader they will generally look to their own survival. They have no loyalty.

The Baatezu are immune to fire and the more powerful require both holy and silver weapons to harm them. Unlike the ‘Loths, they are organized and disciplined by nature. They can be tricked and they do not adapt to surprises well.

With you are three Avoral Guardinials, two Lupinal Guardinials, four Bralani Eladrin (who remind you in dress and appearance but not personality of Asinjin) and one Firre Eladrin. His name is Eatha.
